Anglesea Arms reviews
Very good food but the prices are a little too high for a pub that doesn't offer the best service or allow you to book. Great place on a cold winter's evening though. Try and go early to get a seat.

Disappointed to see that all of the prices have gone up and that they are also charging for extra bread etc. It was already just on the border of being overpriced for pub grub.

Every time I have come here the food has been great. If you fancy it on bonfire night, get in early! Beer good as well...

The food changes regularly. It's always hard to decide what to have because the menu is so inviting, but whatever you choose you're in for a treat. Great food, good prices, enjoyable atmosphere.

I love the Anglesea. I'm loath to leave a great review and make it busier. The food is really good. The service is relaxed. And thankfully it's not too pretty so you wouldn't go just to be seen.

Superb menu. Great beer! Comfortable, welcoming and unpretentious. Pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to spend your weekend, happily ensconced in a chesterfield sofa after a lovely meal in the dining room.
