Ealing Park Tavern reviews
Dreadful place. Service appalling (unwelcoming and remarkably snobby considering the lack of linguistic skills on show). None of the qualities of either a good pub or a good restaurant. Cheap napkins, cheap and mismatched cutlery, greasy tables, dirty glassware, greasy plates with £18.00 main dishes! The food was good, but completely let down by the service and grime. What a bust!

Revisited after 3 years, and after checking and seeing very good reviews. What a bust!
Poor service, a steak full of gristle and a waitress who said she would show it to the chef and never returned. The manager explained that it was the 'usual' gristle and to be expected. When told there was another steak at the same table that was completely different, so how did he explain that, he said "Oh well, a different cut", and appeared completely unconcerned.
Lobster overcooked and salty, 'hand cut' potato fries dry and tasteless, risotto rice hard and also oversalted, and sherbet ice cream 'carrot and marsala' very peculiar... Other dishes fine but overall over-rated, riding on past glory and complacent.

A truly undiscovered gem! The food we had here was some of the best I have ever tasted. Our waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you haven't tried it, you really should. We will be back.

I have been going to EPT for around 3 years and I haven't had one bad experience. Great food, good portion sizes with very pleasant service too. Fully recommended.

After 12 years as an executive chef, having eaten at over 1000 places in the world and worked with some of the greatest chefs, I must say that the night I had at Ealing Park Tavern with my restaurant manager and wife was absolutely superb. The service was prompt and very professional, the maitre d' was great and prices reasonable. The staff were very good with their information on wine, and were extremely helpful. I'm glad I wasn't treated any differently because of who I am. Thank you once again. Well done, and keep up the hard work.

I have been twice in the last week - fantastic Sunday roast and then great sirloin steak. The staff are really pleasant and attentive. Great wine, and the crumble was divine!

We now eat at the Ealing Park Tavern on a regular basis. There is always a warm friendly welcome from all the staff, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is exceptional. What more could you ask for?

Food is OK (though I would not call the 'tapas' menu real tapas) but unfortunately the staff seem to be there to enjoy themselves and not to look after their customers.

I have had some exceptional meals here. It is very reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful.

Great service and fantastic food. Their steak is the best I have tasted in London, and their Sunday roasts are a must. Highly, highly recommended.

I think this is the second best pub in London - first being the Red Lion in St Mary's Road.

Quite a rarity for the area, so it is always full with local people. I have had many fantastic meals here, even during their 'low' periods the food has still been better than most good restaurants. Sunday lunch here is exceptional, especially if you are indulgent and have it on Sunday evening.

Food is great. Book to avoid disappointment. I'm a local & can rarely get in without booking a table about a week in advance!
