The Greyhound reviews
I went to The Greyhound for the first time last night. I don't usually like pubs but it was fabulous. A lovely atmosphere, the staff couldn't have been more lovely (and cute, which is always a bonus!), the organic Merlot was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I had fish and leek pie with salad and my boyfriend had pork belly with apple sauce, mashed potato and gravy. I loved it all. I am definitely going back. Couldn't have been more impressed.
by Lolli73, 16 Jan 2008My local, and a lovely local it is too. They need to change the menu (been through it all twice), but apart from that it's a great place to hang out. Impromptu late nights also good fun!
by Kensal Rees, 20 Mar 2007One half pub, one half restaurant, and a lovely little garden at the back. A great place for any occasion; its comfortable, clean, and has a very warm atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, food is good, and there are a good selection of drinks and a thoughtful wine list.
by J.M., 26 Aug 2006I have recently moved into the area and it was recommended by a friend that I check out The 'Hound'.I wasn't disappointed. We arrived late and the restaurant was full but the manager, Mitch, got us a table within 20mins. Both the food and the wine were excellent. As was the serviceWe have been back several times and always enjoyed it, although the bar can get a bit smokey.
