Serving a seasonal menu of modern European cuisine and a complementary all-embracing wine list, the Island Bar & Dining Rooms is a welcome addition to the culinary scene in Kensal Green. Owners John Devitt and Olly Daniaud (the co-founder of The Westbourne and The Pig's Ear) have used their expertise to create an inviting, no-frills gastropub. A snug - complete with open fire - is perfect for the winter months whereas summer months can be spent supping beer on the south-facing, suntrap terrace.
