The Wells reviews
Possibly the most attentive and amazingly friendly service I've ever experienced. Excellent food too. Thoroughly recommended.
by LMCD, 13 Feb 2008Gorgeous food and friendly staff that know exactly what customer service means. A gem of a find. We'll definitely be going back!
by veronica3, 07 Jul 2007On a busy Sunday afternoon, although a bit of a wait, the food was excellent. The waitress extremely friendy and made sure to sit us outside, which we had asked for, the second a table became available. The wine list is very good too. I'll be going back.
by Keith D, 04 Jun 2007We are local and were put off after the first chef left. Now things are back on track - great food, good service and a lovely team of staff. I think there has been a change in chef, and it definitely shows. Glad to be going back regularly.
by anon111, 01 May 2007Friendly, helpful staff. Good food but pricey wine list (not much under £20). Very busy on a Sunday afternoon! Not a 'destination' as such, but worth checking out if you're in the neighbourhood.
by Dermot, 26 Aug 2006Long long long wait for food in restaurant, even on a quiet Tuesday evening. Has not got its act together.
by famished, 18 Jul 2006Lovely place to eat but food not that lovely. Wine list is superb and staff friendly and helpful.
by Anonymous, 26 May 2006Nice food and excellent Bloody Mary's although a bit chilly in winter upstairs.
by zippy (3 reviews), 06 Apr 2006Since the change of the chef last spring the place doesn't reach up to its previous standards.
by Anonymous, 13 Aug 2005The food is good but let down by staff who think they are working at The Ivy or Locanda Locatelli... a little warmth wouldn't go amiss.
by Anonymous, 22 Jul 2005Visited on a weekday afternoon. Very good food reasonable prices. Downstairs restaurant is better than the bar.
by Anonymous, 13 Apr 2005Have we missed a great gastro pub in London? Let us know.
