I had been going to 10500 for over a year when I finally got fed up with poor service, spending my whole day off in a salon and high prices. It is a shame because the salon has huge potential, but I am not prepared to sit there all day while my hairdresser cuts 2 or 3 people's hair in between doing mine and then charges high-end prices.

I was really nervous going to a new hairdresser after having the same one for over 7 years. I tried a few hairdressers who were OK, then I saw 10500 on urbanpath and thought I'd give it a go. I must admit, I am not one for 'blogging'; however, I feel like I just simply must share: I LOVE MY HAIR!! For the first time in ages! The colour was spot on - not too light, really vibrant - and the cut too, it just feels right. It's such a relief to have found a hairdresser (Danielle - she's a sweetheart) who just got it and got me. Have no doubts, just go go go!

I have been going to 10500 for the last two years having been introduced to one of their senior stylists, Magda, by a friend. Magda always makes me look and feel like a million dollars. Since first arriving in her chair I have surrendered my head to this woman who performs nothing short of a miracle each time. One thing I appreciate is that, while the salon is very 'on-trend', I will always walk out with a cut and colour that suits me rather than looking like a fashion victim. The rest of the team are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. I love the design of the store and they always play great music. I'm a particular fan of the lovely biscuits they serve with their coffee - they're so addictive!

I have been going regularly every 4 weeks for the last 2 years and I love 10500. Excellent service! Darrin (my wonderful stylist) is always on time. Haircuts and colours are always done to perfection. If you are thinking of having extensions, 10500 is the place. My hair looked so natural and people could not believe I had extensions! I recommended the place to a few friends and they love it too. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Well done to everybody at 10500!

Excellent service, can't wait to go back for a top-up. My stylist was Tiff, very professional, down to earth, warm, and very engaging. Definitely all you can ask for in a stylist. And for a junior, she is excellent - I think that her level of work is that of a stylist, with very good rates. Have recommended Tiff to 3 friends so far.

Great salon in West London. Never been loyal before but now I don't go anywhere else. Friendly staff and always leave with a perfect cut. I recommend Magda, she cut my hair from very long to very very short and I've never looked back!

The best salon in West London. Service is on point, with Bloody Mary given on a Saturday morning, friendly staff who look like they want to be at work, clients smiling. I had a junior, who was the best - made me feel really welcome and gave me the best haircut I've had in ages. Then had an wonderful head massage from the bubbliest girl, Sasha, whose hands were blessed! As if that's not enough, you also get free internet, coffee and a cheap bill. Please try this salon - it won't let you down.

Wasn't impressed by service or highlights. My male stylist made little attempt at conversation and provided a lacklustre cut. Felt rushed throughout - this is a real no frills salon.

I have been going to 10500 since Anthony Carenza opened his salon over 12 years ago. The team are fantastic, innovative, the atmosphere is wonderful and always a friendly place to arrive. Some places seem to go out of fashion but this one never does. The design of the salon is really out there and so different and exciting compared to the usual hair salons. All those extra facilities are a real bonus. More of a lifestyle salon than just hair. Well done Anthony and the team!

I have just moved back to London and was recommended to 10500 by my sister, who's been getting her hair done there for a while. I was very pleased with my highlights and got just what I asked for. As an added bonus, I was able to check my emails while waiting for my colour to develop. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend Frankie for colour. Will certainly be returning in fututre to see her.

Had my highlights done by Tiffany. She really takes her time and I have never had them so close to the roots. Definitely my new colourist and will be going back. Oh yeah, half price too. Bargain.

I have been living in London for 3 years now, and have been on the hunt since arriving for a good cut and colour. 3 years in and the hunt is finally over...

I had a great cut and colour here with a stylist named Daniel, and I will definitely be going back. The highlights were the best I have ever had, and the cut is still going strong after a couple of months. Highly recommended.

The worst salon I have been to in my life! The haircut was bad and the staff were rude. They did not even bother giving me a head massage and the colour faded within 3 weeks. Please avoid!

Would not recommend. I have been going for a year now, but over the last 3 months service has got sloppy. Very unhappy with my lopsided hair cut. Was handed to another stylist mid-way through my appointment so that my original stylist could cut her mum's hair! When I complained about the cut I was made to feel awful, and even accused of being malicious. I agreed with the receptionist I would not pay for the cut, only to find out they used my debit card details to take the payment the next day without my consent. That's fraud in my book, and I will not be returning. Try Kell Skott on Golborne Road instead!

Had a great haircut and colour with a young Aussie guy and will be back. He listened and was great!

Mixed. Had several fab experiences with Magda. She is a lovely person, did a fab cut, and does even better blow drys. Have yet to try her with my colour, but am going to give it a go.

Other things are disappointing. Had an EXTREMELY average blow dry with an Aussie man (not the owner). It took him 25 mins from start to finish, and my hair is THICK (usually takes a minimum of 1 hr). It looked like a 25 min job and I had to re-do it when I got home. Hair washing sometimes fantastic, sometimes average. The greeting at reception is very hit and miss - you feel like you are intruding on private conversations and on occasion I have just sat upstairs waiting for someone to acknowledge I am there. Thinks it's a little bit too cool.

It could be a great salon, and I will go back for Magda... but I wish she worked somewhere else to be honest!

This is a fantastic hairdressers. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and stylists who really know how to cut hair.

I've been a regular for a couple of years now and not one bad cut - promise.

I’ll admit that I’m a fussy blonde, which is why I chose an expensive salon and one of the directors to do my hair. My highlights came out nothing like I asked and they were so far from my scalp it looked like I had 3 weeks' re-growth directly after having my hair done! I also had a cut with a junior, as I booked late and couldn’t get in with anyone else. It was the worst hair cut I’ve ever had. Was ALSO disappointed with the service, just little things like not getting a quick head massage with the wash and not being referred to by my name but rather as ‘the colour lady’. Really disappointing. I’ve been in search of a good colourist since arriving in London... and the search continues.

This salon is the best! It is the only place I will get my curly mop cut. Anthony, the owner, understands my mad hair - well he should do, I have been going there for over 8 years! I love the fab new decor and the lighting makes all and sundry look wonderful. OK, the price has gone up over the years, but hasn’t everything? And anyway, shouldn’t we splash out a little bit to look our best? Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

My hair was cut by a director but was very mediocre. He was too busy organising shop business and spent 20 minutes on a £50 haircut! Suggest he employs a business manager. Salon too busy and no personal service. Won't return.
