Easton Regal

84 Clerkenwell Road
Clerkenwell, London
Tel: 020 7250 1441 Farringdon 0.2 miles

Covering three floors of an architecturally imposing building in the heart of Clerkenwell, there's definitely something 'regal' about this addition to the high-end salon scene. Spacious and luxuriously decked out inside, the salon offers a suitably indulgent environment for some personalised pampering. Popular treatments include the Permanent Blow Dry, revolutionary Micro Mist
system and Blow Dry lessons. And for the regulars, it is the first hair salon of its kind to offer membership benefits.

Easton Regal reviews

Easton Regal is quite simply the best! I have long, thick unruly naturally curly hair that often seems to have a mind if its own. The winning combination of Jade and Hannah are magically able to transform it into colourful, curly gorgeousness each and every time I visit. I travel all the way from Norfolk to have my locks tended to by Easton Regal and it is so worth it! The salon itself is soothing, with a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, and everyone who works there could not be more helpful. Love Easton Regal. Love Hannah and Jade!

My first experience with Bryn was 17 years ago. He soothed away the tears as a result of a particularly nasty haircut elsewhere, offering comforting words, tea and a heavenly head massage before creating my new style.

Through years of relocations to Australia and Italy, I always looked forward to my return visits to London and my Bryn 'treats' - whether it be a subtle change in hair style, new products and finishes to suit my mass of unruly hair, or a relaxing treatment.

Having recently suffered sudden hair loss, I have experienced Bryn's compassion and generosity of self, as well as his humour, expertise and knowledge in wigs. It could have been a minefield of horrors had I delved into the wig area on my own, but under Bryn's direction and with his suggestions, skill and good grace, I am absolutely delighted with my 'Connie' wig. From selection to re-styling Connie to suit me, the process has made me feel confident rather than self-conscious about losing my hair.

I feel very lucky and enriched to have been introduced to Bryn 17 years ago and to the lovely staff of Easton Regal.

My sister convinced me to change hairdressers a couple of years ago – I just wish I had listened to her sooner. It's just like magic – I go in with a frizzy mess and come out with sleek, shiny locks and beautiful nails transformed by my personal winning team: Jade (colour), Mel (cut) and Imarni (nails). Believe me, this isn't an easy task, because I have thick, long, natural, curly hair. But the results are amazing, I get lots of compliments after my visit and my blow dry always lasts at least five days, which is brilliant.

Eastern Regal offers a few additional extras: massage chairs while having your hair washed, strawberries and brownies with your tea, and, if you really want to push the boat out, you can treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure as well. I usually have a manicure with Bio Sculpture Gel while my colour is working. My nails look great and don’t chip for three weeks... just in time for my next visit!

Wow!! So many positive reviews on this salon, and I can see why! I enjoyed a micro mist hair treatment and cut & blow dry by the lovely Hannah here a few days ago. I cannot stress how wonderful the staff are at Easton Regal. From the relaxed environment to the helpful honest advice, it is by far the best experience I have ever had at a hairdressers. I will definitely be going back. Thanks guys, for such a welcoming visit and for fixing my hair!

I have been following Mel, for my haircut, and Abi, for my colour, around London over the past 5 years. Both of them are lovely girls but also extremely good hairdressers. Going to the hairdresser is always a pleasurable experience, with no fear or trepidation, as both of them are excellent at what they do. I have complete confidence with them both and always leave the salon with a great cut and colour. I would recommend anyone to try Easton Regal as it is a lovely spacious and unpretentious salon but, more importantly, I would thoroughly recommend Mel and Abi.

I would definitely recommend a trip to Eastern Regal - in fact, I do recommend them often to everyone that comments on my hair. I always get my hair cut by Hannah and, after years of having my locks tended to by her, I quite frankly wouldn't trust anyone else. Her warm and friendly approach immediately puts you at ease, and I think she must have some sort of telepathy powers as she always knows what I want - even when I can't fully explain myself!

The salon itself is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to spend time in. Even when it's busy it never feels frantic and loud. The overall service is great from every single staff member, who are always friendly, polite, helpful and professional. All of this is hard to find in a top notch central London salon. Which may explain why this is by far the best salon I have ever been to... Oh, and the products they use smell DIVINE!

Quite simply this is world-class cutting and colouring. The surroundings are relaxing, informal and spacious and the owners and staff are friendly, patient, fun and interested in the customer. But, above all, I go to Bryn and James because they are passionate about hair and how it suits what I want, and because the cutting is simply the best. I hated appointments before I met this lot!

I have been following Bryn around for about 20 years. I have thick curly hair and, to be honest, Bryn has been the only person that seems to know how both to cut but also how to finish off my curly hair (ie lots of leave-in cream, no hairdryer, minimal touching and putting a few twists in rather than the massive hairstyles I get when I have been tempted to stray and go to other salons). I also get my colour done there and have had great experiences with everyone from senior to trainee stylists. Highly recommend his salon.

I have followed Bryn and James around all of the London hairdressing salons they have worked at and I can honestly say that I am so glad that they have moved to Clerkenwell, as it suits me perfectly. I'd urge anyone to go along - just get a consultation, then I can guarantee you will be back!

I was introduced to Bryn and James by a friend who has had her hair styled and coloured by this talented team for over 20 years. Their artistry in styling and colour has taken years off me and has caused some of my friends to wonder if I have been under the knife. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else now.

The whole Easton Regal experience is one to be enjoyed and I always look forward to my visits. Affordable luxury without a hint of pretentiousness.

I am not surprised that all the reviews posted on this site are positive. There is one negative review by one 'Rapunzel' but I can only assume that such totally undeserved comments, made under the cloak of anonymity, are an unkind spoof.

As Easton Regal approaches its two year anniversary, I wish Bryn and James and their talented team ongoing success in the future.

I tried Easton Regal on a Groupon deal (highlights and cut) and I can honestly say that it is one of the best colours that I have ever had (thank you Sarah!).

Bryn and James have looked after my hair for nearly 20 years and I get so many compliments about my cut and colour, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have a busy job and do a lot of public speaking - my hair is the one thing I never have to worry about!

I love Easton Regal. Getting my hair done here is the ultimate in affordable luxury and decadence and a monthly experience I relish. The team, fronted by Bryn Wilkins and James Kinnear, are relaxed but retain their professionalism always; this group of individuals are clearly happy working together and the atmosphere in the salon exudes comfort and style.

I've followed Bryn and James around some of London's best hairdressing salons and, to be honest, if they moved to another country I'd have my ticket booked months in advance. But no need. They've opened up in Clerkenwell and it all suits me perfectly. I'd urge anyone to go along - just get a consultation, then I can guarantee you will be back!

I've been having my hair cut in the West End for nearly 20 years and so was anxious that I would find somewhere as good in the City. Well, I'm happy to say that I did. The premises are fantastic, the staff are lovely and friendly and the haircut is exactly how I wanted it, which is rare with a new hairdresser. I couldn't recommend it more and have found my hairdresser for the next 10 years!

As a first timer to this new salon my expectations were low, having been stuffed into various cramped and pokey salons in the West End over the last 5 years! BUT it was a total pleasure walking into Easton Regal - the beautiful airy space and elegant furnishings made the whole experience so relaxing and easy.

Thankfully the staff were far from pretentious and made me feel so welcome. My coffee came with a complimentary mini choccie brownie and a fresh strawberry that added a little bit of luxury, and Marc and Bryn were a great tag team with a truly consultative approach. I never once felt pushed into getting more cut off than I wanted to, and thanks to the fact that they have their finger on the pulse of current trends (having just returned from working Paris and Milan fashion week shows), I walked out feeling like a celeb. Thanks boys! This salon rocks and I'm so grateful to have found it! Highly recommended.

This really is a hidden gem in Clerkenwell. Such a beautiful salon and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had my highlights with Abi and a cut with Carly and was extremely happy with the service I received. I'm counting down to my Christmas appointment already!

"Prepare to be seduced" says their grandiose website. Hmmm. I wonder whom their team of camp, bitchy stylists will be preparing to seduce? Each other perhaps?

Another example of pretentious, over-elaborate premises where the service is no better than in a suburban salon. So they've successfully seduced me back to Great Missenden.

I travel for over an hour to have my hair cut and coloured at Easton Regal as no other salon will do. Hannah and Mark are a winning combination for cut and colour, but to be honest everyone is as professional and personable as you could ever need. If you want passion for all things hair, this is the place. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Easton Regal is a gem tucked away on the edge of Clerkenwell.
Fabulous staff and cutting edge style. You cannot go wrong. I could not recommend this salon more highly.
