Glass Hair Salon London (Clerkenwell)

I have curly hair and, after my last haircut was a disaster and left my hair looking like a mullet, I was a bit hesitant to try a new salon. Thank God I did! The salon has a nice vibe. Darren, who works front of house, is the sweetest and most welcoming person. And the hair? Petar gave me the most fabulous cut. This is the first time in years I walked out of a hair salon and loved the look of my hair! I will be back.

So my hairdresser of 10 years left my usual local salon. I was really stuck for a good hairdresser/colourist. Then I remembered my sister had the best cut and blow dry with Petar around 3 months ago, so I thought why not? I have to say, I had the BEST cut and colour with Lukino. Attention to detail and perfection at this salon are just two reasons to book yourself in for a treat.

After having had multiple bad hair colour and mediocre hair cutting experiences at various salons (Eshk, Daniel Field, Jigami), I read the reviews of Glass and booked an appointment with Fabian. All I can say is, WOW! He was courteous, never rushed, listened to what I wanted and gave me what is probably the best cut and colour that I've had in a long, long time. I think I've finally found the place that I am going to stay with. Thank you Fabian!

I have been going to Petar for 7 years now, and he is a genius! I have wavy, thick, frizzy hair, and he has tamed it into a sophisticated, gorgeous signature 'do that gets compliments wherever I go. Since I live in Texas, it isn't easy to remain loyal to him. But I try to plan my trips to London around appointments with Petar. He is the best colourist I have experienced, and a very nice and interesting person as well. Yes, it's expensive, but well worth every penny.

I am very particular about hair stylists in the UK as I am mixed race and have had numerous nightmare experiences due to people not knowing how to handle my curls.

I was recommended Fabian, one of Glass's new staff members, by a friend. I was impressed with his knowledge immediately, and he intuitively knew the look I wanted to go for without me having to waste time going into too much detail. Definitely love at first cut...

This is a great salon. The atmosphere is really professional and the stylists and assistants work really hard to make sure you're comfortable.

I've been twice now to get my hair cut by Fabian at the salon, and he is definitely a find in London! Consultation was great - he really listened to what I wanted and we discussed what would suit my face. I absolutely love my new hairstyle, and will be back to him in a few months for a revamp.

The assistants are really lovely, always offering drinks and magazines, and the hair washing is a great experience. I've had Emma on both my visits washing my hair. She is really gentle and does a great head massage too!

I recently visited Glass and was seen by their newest member of staff, Fabian. Fabian was very professional, friendly, warm and really knew his stuff. His suggestions on what would look best for my face shape and skin tone were plentiful but without being controlling or pushy. Needless to say I was very happy with his vision and the execution of my finished hair style. The salon itself was clean and contemporary and had a lively atmosphere to it. I'll be coming back to Glass very soon! Thanks again Fabian! :)

I live in Belgium and was recommended to visit Petar at Glass by a colleague who is a regular client. Wow! The best haircut I've had in years and well worth every penny. I was delighted to meet Petar, he's so open, friendly, intuitive and highly skilled. His work is sublime and since returning to Belgium I've had everyone wondering where I got my hair done. I'm now going to recommend him and his salon to every one of my colleagues here. After all, what a great experience - a day of pampering and a chance to enjoy all the delights London has to offer!

I've just had my hair cut with Peter and it's a fantastic cut. I've been to lots of salons in London and this cut is without a doubt one of the best I've had in my time here. He listens to what you want, then suggests what he thinks and adds that bit of magic only a good cutter knows how to. I will certainly be visiting this salon again.

I've been going to Glass for about 6 years now. One time I toyed with leaving, just for a change, but then Petar created yet another head-turning look and I was hooked all over again. He spent time teaching my friend how to do a fantastic up do for my wedding as well, and she pulled it off flawlessly. His prices are high but worth every penny - you'd spend way more on a fantastic outfit but you wear your hair every day. Listen to him and trust his ideas and you'll come out looking more amazing than you could imagine.

Lovely staff, great hair, really happy with my cut/colour! (But when is Vicky back?) Glass is a really relaxing salon. The only negative thing I have to say is the salon can look a mess sometimes, but then they are busy... I'll be back!

This salon is the best in London. Polite and friendly customer service. They listen to what you want and do their best to give you a good cut and colour that suits you. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

I had my hair done by Peter D. He was very good at the cutting, but I was disappointed with the price I had to pay for the overall finish. I think they are very expensive.
