Hair and Jerome reviews
I've just got home with another beautiful cut from Hair and Jerome. Misouk is such a brilliant stylist - she LISTENS, and she always has ideas for exactly what will suit her client. At Hair and Jerome the attention to detail and time given to clients is unrivalled in any salon I've been to. The amazing thing is that there's no pretentiousness about the place at all, the staff are very naturally stylish and it sort of rubs off onto you during your time in the salon! What's more, Hair and Jerome very generously offer a 15% student discount, so I can actually afford to get my hair done here!
by ellierose (2 reviews), 14 Dec 2007Fantastic. I have had such a great cut from Jerome, I couldn't be happier. It was such a change not to be rushed through on a conveyor belt in 45 mins like I have been for the last few years going to another salon. Jerome was completely focused on my hair and achieving the most flattering style for my face and hair type. Highly recommended. Have already booked my next appointment with a colour.
by poto300 (2 reviews), 10 Nov 2007I discovered Hair and Jerome last year when I arrived in London from Paris. Having very dense and thick hair, I am very selective and demanding about who I let touch, style and cut my hair. In my experience, having lived in several major cities (Paris, New York and Los Angeles), a good hairstylist is rare and very precious (I can barely count two of them).
But I must say that Jerome has blown me away (and still does) with his magic eye, scissors and style. All my cuts have been beautiful, always with great attention to what I was hoping to have as a result. I now allow myself the luxury of going to Hair and Jerome and giving him and his other stylists 'carte blanche' to do whatever they are inspired to do with my hair - full trust, and so wonderful results. Jerome has just done me a perfect fringe and I love it to bits, never felt so good! Excellent customer service - you feel like you're in a private little boudoir.
I got what could best be described as a really odd cut here. I said I wanted layers, but ended up with uneven ends (claimed by the stylist to give the impression of thicker hair, but they actually look as if I cut it myself without a mirror). I am going elsewhere for emergency repair - it's that bad.
by Jane25, 11 Oct 2007I went to Hair and Jerome for a colour and a trim. Usually I'm as scared as if I were going to the dentist when it comes to hairdressers, because they don't listen to you and you are not always happy with what you get. But this time I was very impressed - the colour looks natural and the cut is what I asked for. So thank you, Jerome!
by julie masson, 25 Jun 2007Going to Hair and Jerome is a totally uplifting experience. Jerome and Cecille make you feel so welcome - as though you are an old friend popping in for coffee - and after being totally pampered you leave feeling relaxed and with the best and most flattering cut you've ever had. I can't recommed this salon enough.
by saraalsanea, 18 Jun 2007I had my hair cut this evening at Hair and Jerome. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the 2 hours and 10 minutes I had Jerome's undivided attention. You know you are in great hands and that this person is listening to what you want to look like and achieve. Will be booking my next appointment on Monday to make sure I can catch him between bands and photo shoots. Spectacular!
by ary, 09 Jun 2007Excellent salon in the historic backstreets of the City. Very friendly and attentive to your needs.
by Billy1983, 19 Mar 2007Great little find just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool St. The salon is small and quirky, with fabulous and thoughtful design. You get a very personal service from the stylists who care, listen and obviously know their stuff. Highly recommended - a far cry from the usual production line hairdressers of the City.
