As a local Londoner, I cannot recommend Michelle the beautician and her team enough. I have been to most of the salons in the area at some point as I work local and she is the best. She is a perfectionist and ensures every treatment is the best it can be, which is rare in London. Also very good eyebrow shaping, which again is rare to find in London. Fair pricing and they always seem to fit me in where possible, even at short notice. Very professional. I am not a slim, body-confident person but I feel very comfortable getting waxed and having spray tans whilst half naked! I would go here before you try any other beauty place.

I have just had my botox done at JLT by the best doctor I think I have ever seen, Dr Terry Loong. She was so lovely and I'm so pleased that they are now offering all injectable treatments as well as great hair and
beauty treatments. I would recommend going to see Dr Terry over any other injector in London.

I would highly recommend this place for both hair and
beauty treatments. I have tried many different salons in London and I have to admit JLT is now my favourite. It's well located (just behind busy Oxford street), it's very convenient (you can have your hair and
beauty treatments done in one place), and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
I was offered some refreshments whilst waiting for my treatment and totally loved the vibe in this spacious salon. I had a Galvanic Facial with Ilona. It was the most thorough facial I've ever had. She did a full consultation with me, loads of steaming (which I loved), proper deep cleanse I needed (extractions, which didn't hurt as they usually do) and followed up with this galvanic treatment. My whole face felt tighter and looked radiant and glowing. I used to get a lot of sensitivity and redness after regular facials, but after this one my skin was so even there was no need to apply any foundation. She also gave me some great aftercare advice. I felt I could totally trust her - she's experienced and knows what she's talking about. I'm definitely going back.

For everyone with curly, knotty and difficult hair that wishes theirs was poker straight, I recommend the ionic hair straightening at JLT. I had mine done yesterday for the 3rd time over a 6 year period. Obviously it depends on your hair type, but my treatment lasts until it grows out and is shiny and easy to manage and blow dry straight with my fingers. Thanks again, and see you in another 2 years Lisa!

I've now been going to JLT to see Pierre for around 6 months, having come via the UrbanPath website. As others have said here, he's an excellent hairdresser and makes you feel completely at ease from your first visit. He's never failed to check that I'm happy with his plans for my cut, and has always gone on to do a great job. Would thoroughly recommend.

Got my hair cut today and literally cried in the seat. The stylist was too busy telling me to trust him because he is a hair stylist. Well that doesn't mean much if your client isn't happy, because they are the one who pays and who must suffer the consequences. I'm absolutely devastated about my hair.

I had the best wax treatment experience EVER! Their beautician, Ilona, made it fast and pain free; also, she was using a hot wax which not many places offer, unfortunately. She was very professional and confident. I booked myself in for a facial next week - can't wait!

I have beeb going to JLT for over a year now and I have to say that I am very impressed. I always get my hair cut by Kevin, who is really friendly, professional and always does an excellent job! I would recommend him to anyone... man, woman or Jodie Marsh!

I had a very bad experience at JLT. I booked in for a conditioning gloss treatment at the special price of £20 but when I went to pay they asked me for £55, being an extra £35 for the wash and blow dry. I think the advertising of the special offer was very misleading! The salon isn't that great either. I will not be going back.

This was my second time at JLT - I got a ceramic set perm to have my hair permanently curled by Jacky Li, one of the owners. He has a lot of experience in permanent straightening and curling and does all the demonstrations at the official shows!
Jacky takes such good care of your hair and is always lovely and very professional. If you go to have your hair straightened/permed, ask for him specifically! My hair looks and feels great, unlike other treatments I've had, which leaves your hair damaged. Definitely worth a visit!

I went to JLT to have a ceramic set perm by one of the owners, Jacky, and thought the results were fantastic. My hair is permanently curled but still looks glossy and well-conditioned. They use state-of-the-art technology from Japan - definitely worth trying!
Jacky himself is lovely and takes such care over your hair - a true professional. All the staff are pleasant and the salon itself is modern and contemporary. Definitely recommended.

What a fantastic salon. The afro section is run by two very professional young ladies, Melissa and Alyson. Highly recommended!

Had my afro hair done by Alyson. Very friendly service, excellent relaxer and great cut, all in really pleasant surroundings. The staff even went and got me lunch because I was hungry. Fabulous value for money.

I think the beauty about this place is that they simply offer no-nonsense great haircuts... unlike some of the other pretentious salons. I have been going there for haircuts probably since they first opened in this location and it has always been a joy. Anyway, my favourite in London so far.

I love this salon - it's always such a haven of calm despite being so close to Oxford St. The staff are friendly, Pierre is a hairdressing god and felt like a new best friend after only one appointment. And lying down to have your hair washed - genius! The lighting is really flattering too. The whole experience makes you feel like a princess, which surely is what every salon should strive for.

I haven't been to a hair salon in over 4 years and decided to treat myself one day after a friend recommended JLT. I love this place!! It was so refreshing to go into a salon that had a mixture of stylists and clients from different countries. Everyone was very welcoming. Anyone seeking a good stylist for afro hair should go here and ask for Melissa or Alison. More salons like this please!

Had my hair cut by Tom and colour by Roz. I wanted a simple trim but ended up with my hair visibly longer on one side than the other. Secondly, Roz was not nice (almost rude) and the colour was not good. I would strongly encourage people to go elsewhere if they are thinking of trying this place.

I was recently in London on a business trip and this salon was recommended to me by a collegue. I found the professionalism, salon style and service exceeded my expectations. I was also excited to meet an ex-Aussie as co-owner. I can't recommend more highly to you the JLT salon. Thank you to the team.

Having read the reviews on this website and spoken to a friend who recommended Tom, I booked an appointment for the end of August. I was not disappointed. I was
Tom's last client of the day but he never once made me feel rushed as so many hairdressers often do when they want to go home. He took his time in taking me from long to short and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. It was exactly what I wanted and now 4 weeks later it still sits beautifully with hardly any styling required. I will most definitely be returning!

This salon has got to be one of the best salons in London. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and the juniors were all lovely, really helpful and gave brilliant head massages.
