Martyn Maxey reviews
Ordered product at the beginning of September and have still not received it. After countless phone calls and assurances that the product would be despatched at the start of October by 1st class post, still no product. Take my advice and do not use this outfit, or else be prepared to part with your no money with nothing in return.

Well I will give the salon 10 out of 10 as I was trained there and all who trained me were the best.

The VERY BEST! We visited Martyn Maxey as a family, tidying up our hair for Christmas. Excellent all round service. My wife had the best highlights ever by Chloe and my hair was wonderfully cut by Ken, who further did a wonderful job entertaining and cutting my young daughter's hair - a skill in its own right! Well done everyone, we will see you again in the New Year.

Very poor customer service. Ordered two items, they sent the wrong one and then refused to pay for the refund postage. I will never buy from them again and would not recommend anyone else to do so.

Very nice colour and friendly atmosphere. The blow dry was amazing, it lasted for days. However, the cut was not that great - the fringe was not straight and when I got home I had to cut the longer bits myself. For £136.00 I expect pure perfection. Would not go back.

I had a fantastic restyle by Martyn. He was lovely and very down to earth. He is very understanding, listens and is also a great person to converse with. He gave me great advice and tips. I would highly recommend Martyn to everyone. It was money well spent. He has most definitely won my confidence and I'll be going back for the colour that he recommended with Fran. So glad I went to him. A very, very happy client.

I placed an order online, for which I was charged despite the fact that several of the items were not in stock. As I needed them urgently and was not prepared to wait several weeks for the items I had requested, I asked them to refund me for the missing items. Ten days later this has still not happened, and despite repeated calls I have been unable to speak to anyone who appears to know what's going on. This is the first time I have ordered from Martyn Maxey and it will certainly be the last. Very poor service.

I'm so happy with my new hair - it's fab! It's the first time I've visited the salon and I'm in love already! I have finally found a place where they listen to what I like. The place is fantastic - the vibe in there is amazing and the staff really do go all out for you. Keep up the great work, I'll be back soon!

I have been using both the salon and the website for years and both are fantastic. The staff are friendly and you get the real London experience when visiting the salon in Mayfair. The website is a godsend and saves having to hunt around for products in between salon visits. Order arrives within two days and you save money! Can't recommend highly enough.

Do not use their website service. They do not understand the meaning of the term 'customer service' and we're left with footing the bill for a faulty item which they refuse to refund.

I have used the website a couple of times to buy hair products online. This past week I checked out the hairstyling at the salon. Fantastic results! Lots of comments on my uber-coiffed do... will definitely try a cut next time. Highly recommend for the season's office parties (if you're lucky enough to be going to one in the present climate!!). Not overly priced for the area either.

I visited the salon today for the first time and I have to admit I was very impressed. I was greeted by the friendliest receptionist. My hair was very damaged but they worked a miracle on it. I feel so much better now my hair is in good condition. This is a salon everyone needs to go to. Definitely money well spent. I also found out that Martyn Maxey has an online shop where I can order my products and they will be delivered to my home - what a fantastic service!

All I can say is: WOW!!! My hair was in a bad state when I went to the salon, but they did a fantastic job and I couldn't believe the end result. I never thought I'd find a salon that would be able to fix what other salons had ruined. I was there for a while and the time I spent in there was great - they even managed to do a manicure and a pedicure while I was having my hair done. Will be telling all my friends and family about this salon.

The customer service I received was the best I've ever had. I had my nails done by a lady called Gene not only was she very friendly but very professional at the same time. Her work is outstanding, I will not go anywhere else but Martyn Maxey.
