Paul Edmonds reviews
Always excellent. Wonderful haircut, friendly staff - my ideal salon.
by carmel (2 reviews), 27 Apr 2008Fab staff, fab colour and fab cut! What more could a lady need from a salon?
by ladylush, 04 Apr 2008Paul Edmonds is an absolute hair God. His skill is second to none and the best thing about his cuts are that they look good every day. Try Alison for an outstanding colour, Yoti for the best waxing/threading in town, Lesley for a manicure and Pauline for a pedicure. Great salon and fantastic staff. Expensive, but worth every penny.
by Karen Tompkins, 15 Nov 2007Rubbish salon. I had my hair cut here by a senior stylist and it was an altogether very disappointing experience. The cut itself was very average and, on the basis of this, wildly overpriced (£110). The salon was overcrowded and the decor scruffy, old-looking and outdated. And the icing on the cake?... When I arrived someone asked me if I'd like a drink (like EVERY other salon I've ever been to). I asked for a tea, and they had the cheek to charge me £2 for a crappy cup of greasy spoon cafe-quality tea! What a joke. Don't waste your money.
by Ozgal, 15 Nov 2007Wow! Paul is the best, and so are the rest of the staff (especially Alison for colour and Demi for nails and waxing).
by deirdrewickins (2 reviews), 09 Nov 2007Was personally recommended to try Paul Edmonds for a hair cut, and I was truly amazed with the results. Paul also recommended a Biolustre treatment, which has totally rebuilt my badly damaged hair. Will definitely return!
by anna m (3 reviews), 19 Oct 2007After trying lots of other salons, I'm truly impressed by Paul Edmonds. Linda, in my experience, is the best facialist in London. My skin looks great for weeks afterwards. Highly recommended and highly addictive!
by pattiep, 15 Jul 2007Steven coloured my hair and did an excellent job, but at £95 for a 1/4 head of foils I won't be back - it's far too expensive. The biolustre treatment didn't do anything for my hair (maybe my hair was not damaged enough?). I only wanted an inch taken off when it came to the cut itself, to get rid of the split ends. Not too hard I would have thought, but I was still left with split ends. The whole experience was an overpriced let-down.
by srobinson, 12 Jul 2007Claire tinted my locks and gave me a beautiful auburn shock of hair. Linda, my therapist, is the most amazing waxer ever - I didn't realise my Brazillian was done, she didn't hurt me a bit!
by Moo Moo "top london reviewer" (28 reviews), 09 Jul 2007Really nothing exceptional for the price. I got a spectacularly ordinary and run of the mill haircut and not much of a pampering experience at all. I found the staff quite dismissive.
by LorraineHoxton (6 reviews), 26 May 2007As Paul restyled my hair this week, the years dropped away with the hair he cut off! A very special salon.
by Countrycousin, 17 May 2007Bad colour which didn't suit me, and really awful manicure that ruined my nails. I'll never go back.
by thalia (2 reviews), 12 May 2007I went to the Paul Edmonds salon because of the offer I saw on Urban Path. I was worried at first when the stylist began to explain what the treatment was. But I wasn't disappointed. The Biolustre treatment made my hair look brand spanking new! I went on the website and it explains how Biolustre reconstructs the hair strand. It was amazing on my bleached hair. I have read quite a few editorials about it but never thought it could do what it claims to. I'm definitely going back for more. Thanks to Urban Path for making it cost effective!
I also went the next day to have a wax with this new Lycon wax. Girls, it's Brazilian with virtually no pain! The staff are so friendly and sweet. All in all, an amazing salon.
If you want to look gorgeous you have to go to Paul's salon. The staff are so friendly and they have so many services which means you can get your hair and beauty done in one day. My monthly pampering is worth my husband's sour reaction when he gets the credit card bill!
by Romona, 21 Mar 2007I went to Paul Edmonds after a friend told me about a stylist there who she thought was good. As per usual, I took her advice and went for a cut and colour. The stylist was indeed great. I have never been so happy - he was fun, a great gossip, and you could tell he had a passion for his job. Thank you so much, if you're reading this! I will be back.
by Anonymous, 18 Feb 2007Paul Edmonds is great value for money and the colourist was just superb. It's my new favourite salon.
by Montgomery, 24 Jan 2007Don't waste your time or money - go to a cheaper salon where the hairdressers know what colour suits which skin tone.
by flowerpot, 16 Jan 2007Had a fantastic colour and hair cut at Paul Edmonds. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly, and genuinely cared about their work. Highly recommended.
