I visited Radio 2 weeks ago and I can vouch for the fact that they're friendly and just lovely. The person who cut my hair couldn't have been sweeter. However, be warned: the cheaper hairdressers (and by cheap, I mean those charging £50 for a cut) are very inexperienced and hesitant to make even the simplest of cuts.
I asked for my straight, below-shoulder-length hair to be cut to my jawline and was told 'no'. Apparently such a cut felt too difficult, given he hadn't cut my hair before and it felt too risky. I was told he'd trim it and "next time" he'd do the cut I wanted. So, in a nutshell, for £100 I could have the cut I wanted, not for £50.
His doubt made me question his ability, so I left it at a trim. And he was remarkably lovely throughout. But I now have to go elsewhere and pay twice, just to get 'one' haircut! Somewhat crazy! I've heard amazing things about the other hairdressers here, so I think that's the lesson: go and spend big, or don't go at all.

Just had my hair cut with Hiro at Radio - brilliant, thank you! My hair's coarse and wavy and he cuts it so well it doesn't need any fancy styling or blow drying. The salon is great too, relaxed and a really welcoming team.

I've tried a few hair salons before and always ended up semi-satisfied with the results. I'd almost given up trying new hair salons until I tried Radio London in Redchurch Street last week.
My impression: professional, relaxing and organised. I met Oliver (cut), Rodrigo (colour) and the rest of the amazing team. I had my head massaged and hair cut, coloured and treated with beautifully smelling products, all the while enjoying the beauty of this salon accompanied by a cup of tea I was brought by their friendly staff.
Oliver and Rodrigo used the Quenching range by Bumble & Bumble to hydrate and moisturise my hair, and their professional, skilled hands and eye to perfectly match what I was looking for. Excellent products, excellent job!

Best hair colour EVER done by Rodrigo. He gave me the perfect shade I was looking for and he knows exactly what he is doing. You know you're in good hands at Radio. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and complimentary drinks! Definitely the only salon I'll be going to from now on.

Delighted with my charming new colour and 'do, by Oscar. Finally, a hairdresser that listens and knows what they're talking about when giving advice. My only complaint is that they wouldn't let me take Poquito (the salon dog) home with me. Please, please, I want him.

Excellent salon! I had my hair cut and coloured by Rodrigo and it is pure perfection. Supreme attention to detail, great tailored advice and great customer service. This is THE top salon in London. My search for the perfect hairdresser is over. Radio London rocks! Great location and environment. They are the Bumble & Bumble flaship salon in the UK. Complimentary green tea and coffee (unlike other salons where they charge you for drinks). The salon is very airy, bright and clean. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

I haven't previously had good experience with hairdressers dying my hair, so was nervous about going from a bleach blonde to auburn, but I will definitely be back to Radio! They managed to change my hair to the exact colour I wanted and gave me an amazing cut. Highly recommend.

Had my hair cut today by Collette at Radio. Fantastic hair stylist, great hair cut, will be going back for sure. Salon is very friendly, recommend the hair massage after the shampoo. Salon is light and airy and very clean. Had a nice cup of tea in a china cup, which is complimentary.

I highly recommend this salon! It’s stylish, with a nice atmosphere and staff. I’ve had my hair cut by Ursula 4 times already and every time I’m happy with the result. She’s really helpful, and while you are sipping a cup of tea or coffee you can relax and let her take care of your look. Thumbs up for Radio!

My previous hairdresser never listened to me and I always ended up with a shorter haircut than I had wished for. I heard good things about Ursula and the Radio Salon and I booked in for an appointment. Never again I walk out of the salon thinking "it's not exactly what I wanted". And I even trusted Ursula to cut my first ever fringe and am not looking back! Great atmosphere, decor and brilliant customer service. Five stars to Radio!!
