This is a great salon. Sven and the rest of the staff are friendly, accommodating and talented. I booked an appointment for myself and a friend (we were attending a big event and wanted something a bit glam). We looked FAB. Sven took time to create individual looks for both of us. Shame I live near Liverpool and not closer.

It's not often that a salon manages to combine class and effortless style whilst still maintaining a welcoming, personal ambience. Having read so many good reviews, I was hoping to be impressed, but really wasn't prepared for the level of care, attention and professionalism that I received from the moment I walked through the door.
I had never coloured my hair before, so was a little anxious about having highlights done, but Mel was really calming and instinctively understood what it was that I wanted. Luigi was also fantastic - it is so refreshing to have found a stylist that actually listens! Sulis is such a good find that I almost don't want to share it!

The best hair salon in Marylebone thanks to its intimate and friendly team of experts. I see Sven, who is gentle, professional and, no matter what the day, greets me with a huge smile. Perfect when my confidence is low. Highly recommend this salon to girls who want more from their hairdressing experience.

Had my hair cut by Sara and was delighted with it. Can't recommend her highly enough. All the staff were friendly and the experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

Luigi Inglese is my best-kept London secret! I work in the theatre and film industry and wear my hair ultra short. So the haircut has to be faultless and on trend. Luigi makes it look different every time and it grows out very slowly, which is the mark of a real pro. Can't recommend him enough and won't let anyone else touch my hair!

I am so incredibly pleased with my haircut at Sulis. Staff there are very professional, informative, and friendly.
I had previously been to several different hair salons but had no luck finding an individual who would cut/colour the way I wanted, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way Sara, stylist at Sulis, had cut my sister's hair (her colour is beautiful too) that I made an appointment for myself two days later.
It has been about two weeks now, and every day I wake up I look forward to the way I will be styling my hair that day. Sarah took her time to help me find the perfect colours (I am extremely picky), and I cannot thank her enough for her fabulous sense of style. What a talent!! I've found my permanent hairdresser and am so excited and relieved. Thank you Sara, keep up the amazing work!

Visited yesterday, whilst I am over from the States, and had Sara. Was thrilled with the cut and colour. Highly recommend this small salon, as you instantly feel at home but are treated in the same 5-star way as its cedentials.
If you are looking for a friendly face in a very busy city, take 5 and go to this place. You wll come out as I did - feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready for my night out seeing Wicked! Thank you all, I will definitely be returning.

Could not agree more with the last review - I was thrilled with my cut at Leon London (soon to be Sulis London). I have only been once as my hair has grown out really well. My stylist was Sven. He was very professional and extremely nice. I have a sensitive scalp but his gentle touch meant I got totally lost in my book and felt completely at ease.
I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants to step away from the conveyor belt and try somewhere that really puts the client's needs above all else.

I was recommended to go to this salon by a friend and I cannot stop raving about my cut. It has lasted me 5 months, thanks to the skillful and brilliant Luigi who cut my hair. If you want a haircut that will last in these credit crunch times, go see Luigi Inglese - he's amazing.

Leon has left but Mel and Luigi are now in place and you simply can't beat them for the best colour and cut in London.
Mel is an amazing colourist with A-lister clients and Luigi is a sleek, creative hairdresser whose attention to detail is unsurpassed.

NEWS: The 'Leon' of Leon London has now left the salon!
Also, beware that when you get highlights they charge an additional £35 for the blow-dry - a total of £175 for half a head, which is expensive by any standards. I was not told this and the website tariff does not make it clear either. I will not be returning, which is a shame as Sven is excellent.

Booked an appointment with Sven at Leon London after
reading such glowing reviews on here. What can I say but "Thank you Urbanpath" for showing me the route to the best salon in London.
It was extremely friendly, professional and I felt more like I was having my hair cut by a friend than a stylist. This salon is charming in so many ways - the decor, the massage chairs and the team. It's like meeting the perfect man - sophistication, class, talent and the overwhelming need to spoil me all rolled into one!
It was a little costly - as I totally bought into all the products - but worth every penny. My hair has never looked so good, and with Leon himself even coming over and taking 5 mins to help explain how to pin it back when I don’t have time to dry it all (it's got pretty long and takes ages to dry), I went away having learnt something as well.
Going to a salon has always been a chore - meeting the snotty receptionist and even the juniors looking down their noses at how bad my root line had got (cos if we're honest, how much time does a women in work have?). But from the moment they took my coat and handed me a glass of champagne, I knew that this was the place for me. We all need to feel like a star every now and then, especially when we are paying for it, and Leon London hit every right spot in succeeding to exceed my expectations. Thank you again Urbanpath. Love it.

Leon was an amazing salon. Went for a cut and blowdry with Sven, and managed to get a slot with very short notice. He was awesome, great to chat to as well. After cutting my hair, he curled it and put it up in a sexy bun for a treat! The cut was fab and he took a long time asking me exactly what I wanted. Will return!

I have tried different sylists in London and never been completely happy with the results. However, my experience with Leon has changed that. From the outset I was in expert hands, starting with the warm welcome complemented by a glass of champagne, to the wonderful head massage provided by Josh. Following this I had a comprehensive consultation and cut with the attentive and professional Leon. Overall I was extremely pleased with the bespoke service and my amazing hair cut, and I look forward to my next appointment.

Leon flew into London just under the radar, but lucky for me I have friends with advanced antennae! Leon cut my hair so amazingly that I discovered natural waves, having believed for years that my hair was dead straight. Magic! The salon is a joy to be in. A touch of Parisian chic with oodles of Italian warmth. Just like Leon!

Oh, I just love Leon! He is a master of his art and makes you feel like a million dollars every time. The salon is intimate with a friendly team who just make the whole experience perfect.

And what a relief to find a hair stylist (Sven) who gives you professional advice while listening to your own tastes and lifestyle needs before transforming you with a head turning haircut! This is a first class salon that's stylish and comfortable. The staff are extremely polite and friendly, and one is really looked after and made to feel special. Leon is a genius, a master stylist and colourist, a true artist.
