Did not get offered a cocktail as advertised. The hairdresser (Fredrico) kept shouting at other hairdressers or talking to them loudly whilst cutting my hair. After a consultation where he said he would keep my colour fairly dark so I wouldn't look old (I'm naturally a brunette), I came out with light blonde and ginger highlights! On top of it all, he gave me a haircut and blowdry that made my hair all pouffy! Not a fan.

Went to Taylor Taylor Cheshire Street for the first time recently (have been to Commercial Street several times before). Both are excellent but the Cheshire Street salon is smaller and really lovely - luxurious but in a low key way - and I felt totally relaxed and pampered. Marcelo cut my hair and worked wonders on it. Best haircut I've had ever. Can't wait to return!

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Taylor Taylor. The ambience was great, the staff were friendly and the little salon dog was adorable.
Ricky cut my hair and did a grand job, whilst being a very lovely and personable guy. He is an extremely talented stylist.
I can't wait to go back.
P.S. You must try the champagne cocktails!

I've never left a review in my life, but weeks after having had my hair cut at Taylor Taylor I still love it. My hair finally has shape. Ricky was lovely and clearly very talented. Thank you!

Nickolas, my stylist, was amazing. I felt like a superstar when I left with my big Hollywood curls. If I could afford it, I would come every day and have my hair done. But it's nice to keep it as a treat!
I always feel spoilt when I come to Taylor and Taylor - you can't help but, what with the the opulent surroundings and cocktails and smiles that greet you as you come in. But today my stylist had not only especially magic hands, but he knew a lot about French Cinema and I felt like I was learning as my hair curled!
Taylor Taylor is beautiful and I genuinely felt like a princess having my hair done. It's luxury and extravagance and wonderment for hair care.
P.S. Also, when you arrive, if you're lucky, you get greeted by two beautiful puppies and one fully grown adorable King Charles spaniel, which can make your day extra wonderful.

A friend recommended Taylor Taylor about 6 months ago. The Cheshire St salon has a great vibe, low key and friendly staff. Anne and Lok give me a great cut - and they get the colour right every time (something to cherish). I'd recommend it.

I've just moved to London and was searching for a good hairdresser. Tried some salons but wasn't really excited with the results. Then I heard about Taylor Taylor. I had a really nice experience having my hair cut and chatting with Robbi. I really liked the result and will definitely go back!

I normally use Toni & Guy and am happy to pay for a good hair cut. Recently went to Taylor Taylor and found the level of sevice and the welcome from all staff on hand to be fantastic. The haircut, by Kasia, was also great. Such a personal service, so friendly, and a great setting too. Will be sticking with this now - notably Kasia, but looking at the other staff I don't think you'd complain whoever you got.

I have been getting my hair cut at Taylor Taylor for years. All the stylists I have seen during that time (Bradley, Luca and most recently gorgeous Marcello) have been really fabulous. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, and even if I have an appointment at the end of a busy day they never seem to lose their energy. I would never entrust my hair cut to anywhere else.

I've been going to Taylor Taylor for 5 years now. I've had a few different stylists over that time, all of whom have been excellent. I love this place! Not only do you get an exceptional hair stylist/colourist, but the salon looks really cool and it's got a great little bar where they serve up free cocktails. What more could you want?!

A cracking good haircut. The hairdresser really listened to what I wanted and it's one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I was very happy leaving Taylor Taylor having had my hair cut there (and you get a lovely head massage whilst they condition your hair, which definitely helps!).

I'm a complete convert to Taylor Taylor. Fedirico cut and coloured my hair and I love it. He listened to exactly what I wanted, gave great advice and I left feeling brilliant.

I used to be a Taylor Taylor regular and for the last year have been lazy and tried many other salons that were closer to home... What a fool I have been!
I went back to Taylor Taylor last week and can't believe that I was ever silly enough to try anywhere else. It was as good, if not better than before: the bar and champagne cocktails (all free), the head massage in the underground washroom, the music, the people, and of course the cut and colour. It's a cliche but I felt 10 years younger and promptly went out that night and bagged myself three blokes - not bad for one haircut!!
I'll never change again!

I would never EVer get my hair cut anywhere else. All the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The stylists are very talented and always seem to deliver what you want. Perry cuts my hair and I can't recommend him enough. Brilliant!

I love coming to Taylor Taylor. The staff are brilliant and the surroundings sumptuous. The only negative is the decor could do with updating as it's starting too look not quite as glossy as a few years ago.
I love Ricky and think he gives me the best haircuts I've ever had. I trust him with my hair implicitly and keep coming back. He's worth his weight in gold and I have made him promise never to leave!
I'm quite picky about who cuts my hair, but I've had several of the Taylor Taylor stylists cut my hair and I have NEVER been disappointed. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

I have only good things, actually the best things - I can't fault a thing - to say about Robbi and Taylor Taylor. I always look forward to my appointments (and it's so easy to book online and the email and text reminders are a great idea), love all the care and attention (and great haircuts and colour - thanks to Hannah for brilliant colouring) and always leave with a spring in my step.
The atmosphere, the music, the fantastically tiled shampoo room, the combination of Robbi's upbeat personality and amazing skill mean that even in these credit crunch times, I'd rather go without food than go to a different salon!

I got my hair cut with Anna a few weeks ago at Taylor Taylor. I was really impressed with her. She was friendly, professional and took the time to understand what I wanted, what was practical for me and also gave her opinion. Afterwards, she spent quite a lot of time on the finish, despite the fact that I was running over my 'time slot'. I didn't feel that she was rushing to get me finished and out the door like sometimes happens.
I'm really pleased with the result. Most importantly it's manageable, it looks good and people have asked me where I got my hair cut!

I went to Taylor Taylor for the first time ever. It was the most amazing place I've been to. I was recommended by a friend to treat myself to a beauty treatment. I was amazed at the politeness and professionalism of the therapist. I would definitely say it was the best Brazilian I have ever had and will always go there from now on and recommend it to all my friends. It was quick and efficient. Thank you Taylor Taylor.

I went to Taylor Taylor for the first time last week. Beautiful salon, friendly staff and free drinks - which was great! I had my hair cut by Anna. She sat down with me for 10 minutes whilst I explained what I wanted, and then spent a good 40 minutes carefully trimming, and checking along the way that she was doing what I had asked. I really appreciated this. I have had some very dodgy haircuts in the past (other salons) where the stylist has just gone straight in, lopping huge amounts off! My only real criticism is that it is perhaps a little overpriced - but I would still recommend it.
