Taylor Taylor reviews
I am really surprised to read some of the negative comments below. I have been visiting this studio now for about 2 years every 2 months. I have always been offered a drink (multiple times!), never had to wait and find the stylists to be very patient and very good. My hair looks exactly how I want it. The stylist I have been using (Nadia) is just fantastic!

I was charged £186 for a hair cut and full highlights. The colourist who did the foil highlights was a tad sarcastic and rather annoying. They gave me a cup of coffee that was tepid and tasted foul. There were no cocktails or wine on offer, just tea or coffee. The overall appearance of the place is like sitting in my gran's front room. However, the hair stylist was brilliant and extremely talented with great conversation. He did an excellent job of restyling my hair.

I was left waiting for 30 minutes! I contemplated walking out, but had heard good things about this place so I waited. My haircut was nothing special and I didn't feel that the stylist really listened to me. I won't go back.

Really nice place. They've got nice drinks and the main thing is that the staff is SO FRIENDLY. Anthony is a really nice guy and it's just overall a really nice small place.

Mediocre haircut, usual complaints: stylist didn't listen to what I wanted, lopped off too much, blow dried dead-straight and used lots of product on my naturally wavy, low-maintenance hair. Nice drinks and chitchat though. Maybe they should skip the haircutting and just become a trendy bar.

By far the best haircut I've had in London. The service was friendly and attentive. Good wine, too. As a bloke I sure took a chance with them a day before Valentine's Day. However, not only was it received favourably but I've been getting compliments on my hair all week. My only suggestion by way of improvement is it would have been nice to have had a scalp massage for my £47.

Before I went to Taylor Taylor I always came out of the hairdresser's feeling unhappy with my hair, whether it was a style that I couldn't maintain at home or simply the hairdresser hadn't listened. I've been getting my hair cut here for over a year now and it's fantastic - my hair always looks exactly how I want it. The staff are lovely, really friendly. All my friends who went to Taylor Taylor after I recommended it to them have loved it as well. I haven't got a bad thing to say about this place!

I obviously had the wrong stylist. My initial visit to Taylor Taylor was great and I was happy to go from no fringe to getting a fringe cut in and layers. The advice was great but the colour I was dubious about. I've had better colourists.
Second visit was okay; nice cut and style, colour not excellent again but okay. Third visit terrible, cut was poor and I had to go back and then it was cut even shorter! I was so disappointed. I won't go back again.

My stylist here is great. It's always hard to get a hairdresser to give you natural, healthy-looking blonde hair. And I've never been able to grow my hair so long before.

Have gone from blonde to brunette and couldn't have found a better place to go to. Looking forward to going back.

The best haircut I've ever had. Yummy cocktails and wonderful, friendly staff and atmosphere! What more could you want?

Have finally found a hairdresser worth travelling for! Anthony was great - listened to what I wanted and I have ended up with a great haircut!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fairly stylish decor. I was happy with the results, especially for a stylist who doesn't yet know my (awkward) hair well. Worth a visit.

Prettily designed and nicely trendy but I didn't feel that I got the stylish cut I'd gone there for... shame as I really wanted it to be good.

Arrived 5 mins late and got greeted by a smile and a cold beer. They had me before the scissors touched my hair. Oh, yes, and great hair cut and service.

Travelled from Clapham South after reading the reviews and was so pleased I will happily make the journey every time!

I had my hair coloured by Jake and blow dried by Scottie. Jake is a colour expert and is able to advise on what colour will suit you best. The colour is exactly how I wanted it and my hair looks really glossy. I loved the blow dry - it exactly suited my face shape.
The service is excellent as they keep checking if you are okay and offering you wine, beer etc. I felt I had been really pampered and looked after. All in all it was a wonderful experience.
Say goodbye to West End hairdressers and check this place out.
