The Lounge Soho reviews
This salon is great for on-trend haircuts but not ones that will make you look like a fashion victim! My long, dull hair was cut to a mid-length choppy style with a fringe and made me look like a much more stylish version of myself, so credit to The Lounge Soho for having such an expert team. I could not have felt more looked after, with an iPad offered for my sole use and a complimentary wine to settle my nerves! I will be back for sure and hoping to try a different colour next time if I am brave enough.

I am soooo happy with my new hair colour and cut by Liga at The Lounge. I was given such great advice from her and love what she did with my colour, turning it from mousy brown into a rich natural chocolatey colour! I've never had so many compliments on a cut or colour ever. I have already rebooked my next appointment!

I’ve never been to the same hairdressers twice as I always end up leaving disappointed, but I think I’ve found ‘the one’ with The Lounge Soho. Riley, who was my stylist, made me feel really comfortable and listened to what I was after (but was open to suggestions). He gave me some great advice on growing my hair and how to look after it properly to suit my daily routine. The salon’s recently had a refurb so has got a really cool vibe to it. I’ve even recommended it to some of my friends.

I've been on an endless quest for a good hairdresser in London for 12 years now and, after a number of false starts, I've finally found Liga! I can't recommend her, and this salon, enough. Will definitely be going back.

Liga has been cutting my hair for several years and I would struggle to find anyone to surpass her. She cuts with confidence, and I always get a great CUT, as opposed to a blow-dried style that looks good on the day but disappears as soon as you wash it yourself. I'm all about low maintenance, and Liga always gives me a cut that looks great with no fuss or hassle. She understands my hair and what it will and won't do, rather than just giving me a standard 'trend' cut that doesn't suit me or work with my hair.
Liga has given me a wide range of styles over the years and they've always been innovative and interesting. Lounge is a great salon, but what makes it great is the calibre of its staff. Highly recommended.

I have been going The Lounge for the past 4 months and Liga is my wonderful stylist. I badly needed a change of style and wanted to grow my hair from its short style. Liga has worked well with me and we both now have a vision of how my hair will look. The great thing is that my hair is looking great in its transitional stage, and my friends have commented on how well it looks (and how well I look as well!). Liga cuts it in a way which is so easy for me to manage afterwards - I can continue to have the 'salon' look for weeks after being to the salon. Liga had the propensity to 'think outside the box' and give me a super hairstyle which flatters me. Also the head and back massage while getting my hair washed is fantastic.
It is the first time in ages I love getting my hair styled, because I now am completely happy with the result when I leave. I would highly recommend this salon, and Liga.

Love this place. Just got my hair cut last night by the genius that is Ferdia. My wife has been visiting her for ages and this was my second time at The Lounge. Great wash and head massage was followed by what can only be described as one of the best cuts I have ever had. Her attention to detail is something you rarely come across with gents' stylists in London, particularly for my thick Asian hair that I have trouble doing anything with!! I have been to so many stylists in London during my five years here and this place is definitely up there with the best.

I love The Lounge Soho. It's a very cool salon (without being pretentious), tucked away at the end of Berwick Street Market. I get my hair cut and coloured by a girl called Liga, who's amazing. I always walk away thrilled with my hair, as she somehow always manages to come up with something new and interesting without being over the top. She has a real talent for making it look good that I've never found at other salons. I used to swap and change hairdressers every couple of months, but I've been coming here now for over a year and won't be looking anywhere else. I highly recommend The Lounge for its atmosphere and style!

I visited The Lounge Soho last week and had my first ever keratin blowdry with Jolene. I really wanted a treatment that was going to smooth my hair as well as repair some of the damaged hair. Jolene suggested this would be perfect, and she was right!
I thoroughly enjoyed my whole experience at The Lounge, from start to finish. The keratin blowdry service took just under 2 hours and was very relaxing. I wasn't allowed to wash my hair for around 3-4 days after the service, but it felt fine. Now my hair feels amazing and very smooth and a lot easier to manage, with a lot less blowrdying and straightening. I am very happy with my hair and will definitely be returning to The Lounge for my future hair services!

I get my hair coloured by Cyndii and cut by David. They're both brilliant. Cyndii is great and has given me the best colour I've had - I get compliments from strangers!! David's haircuts always look incredible and he seems to always give me exactly what I want even though I can never articulate it - skills. I introduced my friend to The Lounge because of how good they are, and she also thinks they're amazing.

I just had a brilliant hair cut and colour at this salon! I've got fairly short hair and always seem to end up with the same cut and style and am always trying different places without much luck... until now. A girl called Liga cut it and she gave me a completely new look without going too short. The colour works really well too and doesn't look 'fake', which I'm always worried about. I'm very happy with it and will definitely be going back.

After having so many disastrous haircuts in London, visits to a salon had become a stressful thing until I went to The Lounge. I asked for somebody good with short hair and Ferdia was recommended. She was great. Can't remember the last time a stylist listened to what I wanted, but she talked me through the haircut and I can't recommend her highly enough. I will definitely be going back.

I found The Lounge through Joe (owner), who has worked on various fashion shoots for our fashion brand - he is amazing.
I’ve personally been going to The Lounge for the past year and I love it. Lovely staff, cool music, overall relaxing and awesome vibe.
Cyndi Lee does my colour. She is the best colourist I’ve ever had. She always listens to what I want and she always delivers. She’s a pretty hot blow dryer too (I have extremely curly hair and she always gets it poker straight, which I love). Their cuts are also great - Joylene and Emma are FAB.
I would definitely recommend this salon - hands down the best in London.

I moved to London 5 years ago, found The Lounge and have never looked back. Joe cuts my hair and always leaves me feeling feminine and sexy, which is refreshing. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly with no pretense in the air. I discovered Cindii today - she coloured my hair and was very helpful, artistic and bloody good at what she does! The team here are so effortless and laid back in their approach you may, on your inaugural visit, be worried that you weren't going to get what you asked for, but you always will. Kudos.

I have had my hair coloured and cut at The Lounge Soho for 10 years and still find it the best salon - one I trust. Cyndii is a colour genius - she just knows instinctively what works. On the cutting side, Lucy is a perfectionist - she almost measures the cut for balance! The juniors are friendly and helpful, which is very important - great head massages and constant offers of coffee. I strongly recommend The Lounge.

Despite the amount of salons in London, I have been trying to find one I am comfortable with for years. I tried The Lounge Soho last week after hearing and reading some good things about it.
I had a cut with David and a colour with Paula and I can honestly say I have never been happier. They both sat me down for an indepth consultation which resulted in the best cut I have had in ages, very easy to manage and easy to style. My colour, however, takes the biscuit! And that was the most scary part! Paula gave me advice on how to make my colour last longer and said I can pop in for fortnightly refreshers.
Finally, a salon that listens and cares!

I had a terrible hair cut here a couple of weeks ago. I asked for my long hair to be cut into a long bob with a fringe. I specifically asked for no layers but the guy cut layers in. That wouldn't be the end of the world, except I just have layers on one side!?! What was even more annoying is that my hair is longer at the back and longer on the right hand side (but still shorter than the back) than the left. I've never had such a bad cut and would NEVER return to The Lounge Soho.

It is difficult to find someone who can cut hair to bring out your best features. I have had some bad haircuts in my life. But I found Liga about 6 years ago and have been following her around London, from Notting Hill to The Lounge Soho where she now works. I have never told Liga how to cut my hair, just given her free rein - and it always looks more amazing than I could have put in a request. Over the years most people I know have asked where I get my hair cut. And now they all swear by Liga too. The only problem is that I have to stay in London, or else who will cut my hair?!

I have spent the last 2 years since moving to London, trying to find someone who knew how to cut the right '50s men's hair style and thankfully I have found that in Hayley at The Lounge. We had a good chat about how we wanted to go with it and her careful attention to detail meant that I have finally got exactly the look I wanted. Add in those amazing massage chairs whilst you're hair is being washed and I am wondering why it has taken this long for me to find this place and to find somebody as good as Hayley in a city with as many hairdressers as London.
