Coccinelle reviews

I purchased a beautiful suede Coccinelle bag in Rome 6 years ago for about $380 Aus. It is the only bag I have used since and although the colour is a little faded (it has been in the rain and snow) it is still 100% in the stitching and straps. It often has a lot of weight in it as it is big enough to fit everything in including drink bottles, yet there is no sign of strain in any of the craftmanship.

I love this bag and will use it till it can be used no more. It still looks great too! I spent way more on this bag than I would usually even come close to considering, but it has been well worth it. I cannot fault the quality.

I bought a Coccinelle bag two years ago for £250. Although the leather has worn well, the metal on the clasp and rings has partly worn away, leaving the silver colour with a rusty-looking finish. I don't think this should happen with such an expensive bag - it doesn't with much cheaper bags.

Have been buying Coccinelle bags for years. I usually buy from a lovely shoe boutique in Dundalk, Ireland, called Miro Shoes as they always have different styles available from the larger department stores. I have never had anything but fab comments on my bags. I love Coccinelle!

They seem to be quite a rip-off. I saw a canvas bag with 'Coccinelle' in leather letters sewn on that cost $240. It just didn't seem worth it (though it did look quite pretty).

I paid £150 for a Coccinelle bag and have been really disappointed. The shoulder strap is made of 3 pieces of leather which are meant to be stuck together. Mine have all come apart and, to be honest, it makes the bag look cheap and tacky. I will not being buying Coccinelle again!

Just bought new Coccinelle bag. Love the leather and the look. Quite expensive but feel its worth it.

Bought a bag 2 years ago in a town near Como, and this year bought an updated version replacement. Gorgeous, not expensive in Italy either!

I have just bought my second Coccinelle bag. Although not cheap, I love both the bags and the admiring looks I get from other women.

I recently purchased a Coccinelle handbag. I just loved the soft leather and colour. Slightly disappointed however to find that, although genuine Coccinelle, a tiny label well hidden inside the handbag's inner zipped pocket said 'Made in China'!

I just got back from Milan where I saw Coccinelle bags for the first time and it was love at first sight. Excellent price - similar to Coach/Kate Spade but looks much more expensive. The good news is I live in Dallas and they aren't sold here so no one knows what it cost and no one else has one. The bad news is I have to go back to Europe to get another one. Hmm, maybe that's not so bad after all...

Fab handbags, gorgeous leather and look far more expensive than they are. They're not cheap however, but worth it. I agree that the website is rubbish, they'd make a lot more profit if you were able to buy them online or at least be able to see the whole range and prices.

I bought one of these bags spur of the moment. Great find! I love mine & wish I could find them online so that I could buy others. No complaints from this customer - thrilled to find great style at such a bargain.

The Coccinelle website is crap - why can't we see the handbags and the prices?

Exellent handbags. I purchased one in Italy - brown with royal blue trim and handle.

I'd like to be able to order them online.

The bags are so beautiful! And not so expensive - there are a lot that cost under 65 pounds.

I've bought two bags from Coccinelle, both of which suffered faults in next to no time - a broken zipper on one and buckle on the other. Beautiful bags, but I wouldn't buy another one.

I bought a butter soft, brown leather handbag with a cute pink satin lining from here. Although I was surprised when the zip pull broke, when I returned it to the shop, the Manager sent it off to Italy to be repaired at no cost to me, and with no quibble from them. Nice to see customer care still exists.
