Shame on them for serving shark fin soup, kudos for recently taking it off their menu. I hope the other fish they're serving is sustainable.

Very fashionable restaurant in London with dim sum cooked to perfection. Also desserts are yummy, especially the chocolate lemon mousse. The atmosphere is very good. However, not all staff are very polite. Don't forget to try their cocktails in the Hakkasan bar! In general, it's a good combination.

Overall quite an experience, so it's definitely worth going at least once to check it out. The decor is incredible, as is the food. On the down side though, the attitude of some of the staff could be much improved, as could the service, and I'd say it's a little expensive for what it is.

This place has the 'WOW' factor. If you want to impress anyone, this is a great place to go - it's always buzzing,

Undoubtedly the most stylish Chinese restaurant in London. The lunch menu is limited, yet the dim sum are delicious. More choices for dinner (the duck salad and crab in sweet and sour sauce are my favorites).
The atmosphere is very seducing, hence great for dates (though having said that, 5 out of 6 times I have visited there were a good number of children, which can be slightly distracting). Service always friendly but sometimes can be overpowering.

It was the first time I have been to Hakkasan and it won't be the last. My boyfriend took me for my birthday.
I met the manager - such a great person, so down to earth. I don't usually like fish, but thanks to him I tried it and, you know what, it was great. Excellent service.

This is not a Chinese restaurant. The food is, and I quote, "Oriental-inspired". I'm Chinese myself too, but I know the difference between Fusion and Traditional.

Had a brilliant night out! Got great service and the food was gorgeous. Those cocktails though... think I had one too many - they were delicious!

Impressive atmosphere in the bar and the lounge (the main restaurant section is not as interesting). Hakkasan is definitely still a scene, though probably not as much as in 2003/2004.

I've been to Hakkasan a couple of times and thought it was super, from the food to the decor, from the kindness of the people to the smell of incense. I'm sure I'll come back to Hakkasan when I return to London.

It is OK, but not fantastic. The degrading way you are assigned a strict time slot unless you are celebrity affects the entire dining experience. Yauatcha, Royal China or Hunan are much better.

I went for my boyfriend's birthday last year and absolutely loved the food, it was beautifully presented and very creative. The only down side was the service - the staff seemed rude, taking some of our dishes away before we had even finished. I consider the prices they charge too high to be taking food away like that... I want to ensure that we get our money's worth!

Have been there three times during the past year and enjoyed it every time. Very consistent in the food quality for such a big place - well done! Love the decor too, though
the music is a bit loud.
In general it's a great combination of atmosphere and food, even though every once in a while you might get the impression of sitting in a high class Wagamama! Would still definitely recommend it.

I went just before they got the star and they overcharged for champagne and were very surly about catering for a vegetarian. Not impressed.

It was the best restaurant we've ever been to. They couldn't do enough for you. Everyone was extraordinarily helpful and the price wasn't outrageous considering the incredible service you receive. We booked up again before we'd even left!

Great restaurant. Waiter was great - recommended good dishes, which I chose. Fantastic decor, atmosphere was buzzing... An all round nice place. Will definitely go back.
