Jan Moir's review of Deya (The Telegraph)
Deya reviews
Incredible! Their website indicates casual dress, so we showed up in nice jeans and got a couple of glances from better dressed folks who seemed offended. Still, it didn't stop us from sitting down and enjoying a meal on a par with Chicago's Tru or Seattle's Rovers.
Go with the tasting dinners (£30 each and worth every penny!) to get the full experience. We had the Deya selection and the seafood selection. Both were great but the seafood selection was best. You must try the sea bass (with a sauce to die for) and save room for the rosewater and vanilla creme brulee (not to be missed).
We went last week and the food was really good, the atmosphere fantastic, and the staff great.

by Jodie Mann, 11 Jan 2006Fantastic food and great cocktails in a relaxed environment. Can't praise it highly enough.

by Anonymous, 17 Dec 2004Fabulous. Food was awesome; dining room looks great; atmosphere is perfect; and service was faultless. I'm a huge fan of the Cinnamon Club, but this place beats it on almost every count. The food isn't as inventive, but it tastes better and represents much better value for money.
Sadly, despite the reputation for great cocktails, the only let down of the evening was my pre-dinner mojito, which was so sweet that I couldn't drink it.
Some of the most inventive Indian food I've ever had, in very pleasant surroundings. We went there for lunch and it was pretty good value for such great food.
