Inspired by the style of cafe opened by Bombay's Persian immigrants, Dishoom is not quite your average curry house. Its muted monochrome interior is reminiscent of an old black and white photo from somewhere exotic, whilst the atmosphere is buzzing (there's an open kitchen) and service brisk. As for the food, there's a selection of snack-size plates (desi fish fingers, chilli cheese toast...) as well as a more traditional-sounding curries, daals and kebabs, and even a few breakfast options.
