Veeraswamy reviews
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. The menu is limited, the food is average and not the exceptional dining experience expected. I took a client there for dinner and can only say the most memorable thing about the evening was the price - outrageous. How this restaurant gets such wonderful reviews from critics is beyond me, but then they do eat for free!

I really like Veeraswamy. I first went about twenty five years ago when they had uniformed waiters with turbans. The new look is ideal and comfortable. Should get top marks for having no piped music alone! My favourite dish is the Lamb Shank, which is just delicious. It's a treat. One star lost only because I think the drinks are a bit overpriced.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants in London. The food is extraordinary and very authentic. I will definitely go back.

Very bland. Won't go back. Overhyped and overpriced.

Had a fantastic meal here and will definitely be going back. A million miles away from Chicken Tikka Masala and other non-Indian dishes. Pleasant, reasonably fast service and a nice atmosphere with pleasant views of Regent Street. Reasonably priced too (£25-30 per head without wine). Good job Veeraswamy!

The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to, excellent food, very friendly and polite service. Definetly looking forward to going back there. Well done Veeraswamy.
