Passione reviews
Nothing wrong with the food, it's just very average. However, it's a cramped location that lacks any real atmosphere. A group of us left feeling a lot poorer having paid £65 a head and feeling we had a meal and experience worth half that. I'm afraid to say we all concluded that there was nothing wrong with the place, but at the same time it just didn't add up to anything any of us would return to in the future.
To sum up: average food and uninspiring atmosphere at a high price.
Very authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is small and feels a little cramped. But the cuisine and a good wine list make up for it. When we visited, we had the likes of fresh sauted mushrooms to start, fish ravioli (truly excellent), and 'coniglio alla ligure' (rabbit). Maybe needs to work a little bit on the desserts.
