The décor's not as grand as some of the better known Italian restaurants featured here, but the friendly service, value for money and the excellence of Vasco & Piero's Umbrian cuisine make up for it.
Vasco & Piero's Pavillion reviews
Homely but atmospheric, really lovely food (mouth-watering homemade pasta) and fantastic service. Was in a large group and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Well worth the money.

Good ambiance and pleasant service. But compared to 2005 reviews I read, this is not very cheap (dinner £23 for 2 courses, £28 for 3, with nearly all the wine over £22 a bottle) and while the food was good, it's a bit 'old style' Italian and these days doesn't seem very imaginative.

I know the owners and the food rules!

On recommendation, I took my wife to this restaurant on her birthday. As advised, I booked in advance, soon to realise how busy it got - it's the same every weekday evening. The restaurant suited our purpose as it had a very nice romantic atmosphere. The guys were very friendly and the service was prompt. The food and wine was excellent and not as expensive as one would expect a restaurant in Central London to be.
We had a nice romantic evening and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Good place for a quick, cheap bite in Soho. Very decent food for the price and a nice atomsphere as its usually full. Tables quite close together though - but maybe that adds to the ambience?
