Vasco & Piero's Pavillion reviews
Homely but atmospheric, really lovely food (mouth-watering homemade pasta) and fantastic service. Was in a large group and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Well worth the money.
by ilovesushi, 16 Oct 2007Good ambiance and pleasant service. But compared to 2005 reviews I read, this is not very cheap (dinner £23 for 2 courses, £28 for 3, with nearly all the wine over £22 a bottle) and while the food was good, it's a bit 'old style' Italian and these days doesn't seem very imaginative.
by SparkyMarky, 19 Jan 2007On recommendation, I took my wife to this restaurant on her birthday. As advised, I booked in advance, soon to realise how busy it got - it's the same every weekday evening. The restaurant suited our purpose as it had a very nice romantic atmosphere. The guys were very friendly and the service was prompt. The food and wine was excellent and not as expensive as one would expect a restaurant in Central London to be.
We had a nice romantic evening and I would highly recommend this place to others.
Good place for a quick, cheap bite in Soho. Very decent food for the price and a nice atomsphere as its usually full. Tables quite close together though - but maybe that adds to the ambience?
