Mju reviews
I went to Mju for a birthday treat and had the 10 course 'surprise' option. The wasabi ice cream was to die for and both staff and chef were to be complimented on the service and fabulous food served up. Good for me and my man, but not for the restaurant, was that it was pretty empty and despite this the staff didn't hurry us along in the slightest. Fantastic!
by lorrainec, 21 Oct 2005Very poor quality food and service for Easter Monday lunch. 5 guests and could not serve food with wine. Food lacked flavour and presentation was average.
by Anonymous, 28 Mar 2005The food here is an interesting fusion of French and Japanese, and it works better than you might expect.
We had the 7 course tasting menu. The dishes were quite small but there were some unexpected and wonderful flavours in every part of the meal. They served an appropriate style of wine with each course and the sommelier explained the thinking behind each pairing.
My only criticism would be that it does feel (unsurprisingly) like a hotel restaurant and it's certainly not cheap. Worth a visit though.
Have we missed a great restaurant in London? Let us know.
