Sushi-Say

33b Walm Lane
Queen's Park, London NW2 5SH

For over 11 years Yuko Shimizu and her husband Katsuharu have run this slightly shabby looking but excellent Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in Willesden. With just ten seats at the bar and twenty in the restaurant, plus a private booth for five or six, Sushi-Say has a truly intimate atmosphere. The menu offers a full classical Japanese selection from sushi to a wide range of cooked dishes, all lovingly prepared by Katsuharu himself.

Sushi-Say reviews

This, along with Pizza on the Wood, is one of my locals. Sushi Say recently underwent a massive rennovation and has much more of a NYC feel about it. But some things do not change - it's still the best sushi place in London.
