High quality sushi restaurant. Yashin is owned and run by two veteran itamae (sushi master chefs), formerly of Ubon and Yumi. You can observe them behind the sushi counter preparing, with obsessive attention to detail, beautifully presented sushi omakase (set meals). Only a delicate brush with a soy sauce mixture is used during preparation. Diners are actively discouraged from obliterating the delicate fresh flavours of the ingredients by going crazy with DIY soy. Serious stuff.
