Friendly they may be when you are buying, but BEWARE... I tried to return an item, which incidently was twice the price I could have got it for elsewhere. They do NOT have a sign to say that they do not refund your money (unless faulty) and issued me with a 6 month credit note. I don't live in the area, it wasn't convenient and the young lad who works there was downright rude and snobbish. Thanks, but no thanks. I won't be going there again.
by mchristo, 29 Apr 2008I must say, my experience has been quite different from some of the other reviewers on this page. I found the staff friendly and helpful without being pushy. I ordered a teapot which they do not usually stock; I didn't have to leave a deposit and they phoned me when it arrived.

by Miss A, 02 Jan 2008I like the shop and the stock they keep, but like others I also feel that I am more a bother than a client. I sometimes feel 'stupid' for browsing and asking a question. They should try and train the staff that clients are important as well.

by Anonymous, 01 May 2007Great shop with lots of great items for the kitchen but every time I go I always feel like I am inconveniencing the staff. They seem to be more interested in talking to each other than in the customers' needs.
by Patti-, 01 Apr 2007This is a well-stocked shop with lots of interesting kitchenware. However, everyone who works here seems to be in a constant bad mood, and they work very slowly wrapping customers' purchases. I've walked out through frustration more than once.
