La Cuisiniere reviews
La Cuisiniere Too (91 Northcote Road):
Staff were very helpful with my telephone enquiry. Staff looked for requested item and phoned to advise that it was in stock.
Well stocked shop, reasonably priced. Positive feedback for this visit.
The rudest staff and the worst service I have encountered. Staff aren't even able to go and check what stock they have.
by la roche, 26 Feb 2008I have to say, a very lovely well-stocked shop but slightly off-putting when staff are smoking outside the entrance when you're entering with young children.
by john51, 23 Oct 2007Just another run-of-the-mill kitchen shop. Nothing special whatsoever. A pity they are not as good as they think they are.
by bseaman (2 reviews), 07 Oct 2007Fabulous ranges with great ideas. The staff are very warm and knowledgeable and sympathetic to male inadequacies! Having read some of the previous comments, I cannot believe we are talking about the same shop!!
by fab2000, 15 Aug 2007The manager's French needs improving, depsite the fact she is French. She did not know what 'suranne' meant, despite the fact that it is a normal word. Posh shop with nice goods in a nice area, but staff seem out of place there. Are they just waiting for closing time so they can go home and relax? If so, at least go home and read up on your product range, brands and other matters pertaining to kitchen materials.
by besh, 12 Jul 2007Well stocked shop, but was appalled at how the manager tore a strip off a young girl working there over what appeared to be a trivial matter, very publically. She was very sweet about it but must have been very embarrassed. I'll avoid shopping there.
by Anonymous63, 01 Jul 2007Extremely rude management. I will never shop here again, despite having been a customer regularly over the last few years.
by Posy45, 21 May 2007Very well-stocked shop, to the point of claustrophobia! They generally have what you're looking for.
I have to say though that sometimes the staff on Saturdays aren't particularly helpful - rather unknowledgeable and not particularly forthcoming.
I loved this shop, full of the practical and beautiful kitchen essentials and accessories.
