New York Nail Company reviews
I was actually impressed by NYNC. What a great service. The team is well-managed and polite. Had my threading done by a charming therapist. Nice new furniture. It was a good experience all round. I will go again when I am back in the UK.

Great service by a friendly team of staff. Place needs to be refurbished, but good ambiance.

I have never met a more unprofessional and rude bunch of staff in my life. No courtesy, no decency and not worth giving your money to. Do not go.

Excellent service. They have a wonderful team, always helpful. I've had my waxing and nails done there for the past 3 months and would say it's the best salon in London if you're looking for good service. Incidentally, they are changing to 'No23 Beauty'.

I went for a mani and pedi before my holiday. The salon is disgustingly filthy. I won't be going back.

I am a regular. It is easy to moan, but I have to say they offer great customer service and are very efficient. Always deal with their manager, Leny. He is amazing - even at short notice he makes the effort to squeeze you in. It is not a spa, they are busy and fast. They do the best waxing in town too.

Can be a good or bad experience depending on the staff. Emma was lovely but other staff there have been quite rude. High prices considering it's not particularly luxurious for the area. Nails have chipped quickly after all my visits here (four in total). Atmosphere is not for relaxing but erfficient enough. Waxing was fine, although again it's not the nicest place to be.

I actually went for an eyebrow shape. The woman who did it was incredibly rude and it was the worst I have ever had. I will not go back.

Terrible. Awful atmosphere, dirty salon and staff bitching among themselves. Very disappointing. Manicure only lasted 6 hours before chipping on the journey home. Probably one of the most unprofessional places I have ever visited.

Went in for a French manicure and came out with something that my 7-year-old sister could have done with a Tippex pen. Not worth it.

I had a gift certificate for a manicure and was totally impressed - the best manicure I have ever had. It lasted a full week before the polish chipped!

I had a mani and pedi and the manicurist couldn't even open the nail bottle because it was either really old or there was too much gunk inside. Apparently only one nail dryer was working, which meant I had to wait for 10 minutes. This is such a poor nail salon that I'm beginning to wonder why it's still on Urban Path's 'Best Nail Salon' list!

This must be the dirtiest salon in London. Overflowing toilet, a dirty handbasin, and grotty towels that are hung up in the salon to dry. Don't bother.

I went for a pedicure and the place was filthy. The person that was to give me a pedicure told me that I had to wait because I came 10 minutes early and her nails were still wet as she was painting them. I am not going back!

I had one of the best manicures I have ever had. My nails are flawless! Also they do the BEST Brazilians.

I walked into NYNC and into, literally, a screaming match between the receptionist and a customer. That pretty much took care of the 'zen spa' moment I was hoping to get. Then I got a manicurist with sweaty hands who used a white block that was falling apart. How much is a white block? 5 pence?... NYNC isn't quite up to par.

I went for a pedicure which was great but the chairs were not very comfortable and I kept slipping off.

I went in for a manicure and pedicure, and couldn't believe how dirty this salon was. I saw nail clippings in the little disinfectant tool jars from previous customers. New York? More like a sad imitation.

The woman who did my pedicure was lovely. However, I found it a bit off that there where no pedicure chairs, so sticking your feet in a bowl of hot water only works for so long before it is cold and uncomfortable.
The lady who did my manicure was very rude. I accidentally bumped one of my nails and when I asked her if she could fix it, she acted very frustrated and told me she had other customers waiting. But she had not even finished painting my other nails yet! Definitely not worth the money.
