New York Nail Company reviews
I was actually impressed by NYNC. What a great service. The team is well-managed and polite. Had my threading done by a charming therapist. Nice new furniture. It was a good experience all round. I will go again when I am back in the UK.
by josette, 26 Mar 2008Went for the first time on Valentine's with my friend, a regular, and was impressed by the kind team and helpful service. Their manager offered me Valentine wine and heart in chocolate, which was a nice touch. Had a great CACI facial with Justine and an excellent hot wax Hollywood with Nilgun. I've booked a fake bake with Emma for next week.
by VALY, 16 Feb 2008Nice salon, clean. The staff were lovely, on the whole. I had an excellent waxing (Hollywood Hot). They do facials with Dermalogica. Will keep going.
by carlacassie, 29 Jan 2008I had a great first time in the salon (it is now called No23 Beauty NYNC). The team is great. I had threading with Nilgun - truly helpful. I decided to buy a loyalty course with them. Ideal location.
by Shelly, 22 Jan 2008Went Saturday for waxing and maicure. Felt welcome, excellent service from the reception, was offered tea, hot chocolate with a cookie, and wine. The manicure was fantastic, the waxing excellent - especially since it is hard to find hot wax these days.
by sandymansfield, 20 Jan 2008Great service by a friendly team of staff. Place needs to be refurbished, but good ambiance.
by Ilda, 02 Jan 2008I have never met a more unprofessional and rude bunch of staff in my life. No courtesy, no decency and not worth giving your money to. Do not go.
by mmari, 27 Dec 2007Excellent service. They have a wonderful team, always helpful. I've had my waxing and nails done there for the past 3 months and would say it's the best salon in London if you're looking for good service. Incidentally, they are changing to 'No23 Beauty'.
by janesoroya, 08 Oct 2007I went for a mani and pedi before my holiday. The salon is disgustingly filthy. I won't be going back.
by toniii, 23 Sep 2007I am a regular. It is easy to moan, but I have to say they offer great customer service and are very efficient. Always deal with their manager, Leny. He is amazing - even at short notice he makes the effort to squeeze you in. It is not a spa, they are busy and fast. They do the best waxing in town too.
by sian45 (2 reviews), 05 Sep 2007Can be a good or bad experience depending on the staff. Emma was lovely but other staff there have been quite rude. High prices considering it's not particularly luxurious for the area. Nails have chipped quickly after all my visits here (four in total). Atmosphere is not for relaxing but erfficient enough. Waxing was fine, although again it's not the nicest place to be.
by SinnyD, 03 Sep 2007I actually went for an eyebrow shape. The woman who did it was incredibly rude and it was the worst I have ever had. I will not go back.
by lizclegg, 12 Aug 2007Terrible. Awful atmosphere, dirty salon and staff bitching among themselves. Very disappointing. Manicure only lasted 6 hours before chipping on the journey home. Probably one of the most unprofessional places I have ever visited.
by Samson, 20 Jul 2007Went in for a French manicure and came out with something that my 7-year-old sister could have done with a Tippex pen. Not worth it.
by Lamzy (8 reviews), 23 Jun 2007I had a gift certificate for a manicure and was totally impressed - the best manicure I have ever had. It lasted a full week before the polish chipped!
by Anonymous, 30 Apr 2007I had a mani and pedi and the manicurist couldn't even open the nail bottle because it was either really old or there was too much gunk inside. Apparently only one nail dryer was working, which meant I had to wait for 10 minutes. This is such a poor nail salon that I'm beginning to wonder why it's still on Urban Path's 'Best Nail Salon' list!
by disgusted, 08 Dec 2006This must be the dirtiest salon in London. Overflowing toilet, a dirty handbasin, and grotty towels that are hung up in the salon to dry. Don't bother.
by ELL49 (2 reviews), 17 Nov 2006I went for a pedicure and the place was filthy. The person that was to give me a pedicure told me that I had to wait because I came 10 minutes early and her nails were still wet as she was painting them. I am not going back!
by p_natalia, 04 Sep 2006Have we missed a great manicures in London? Let us know.
