A members-only drinking and dining club in Covent Garden, Hurst House prides itself on intimacy and elegance. Hurst House reviews

It's a pity that this beautiful place seems to be doing so badly. It is no longer busy, the kitchen is often closed, and it is not kept as clean or fully stocked as used to be the case. All events seem to have been ceased and the owner is nowhere to be seen. Let's hope that this does not last.

It's not great for doing business - just a bar and a restaurant but it's one of the best most friendliest clubs in town. After a few trips everyone knows your name, the staff are great and it's a shame it's not as busy as it used to be. Good media crowd but not the pretentious ones - and usually the odd famous person who will chat or say hi over a beer. The sort of place no one cares who you are or what you do.

I have to agree with the comments and reviews below... you should meet Lisa and Lotty, they are possibly the best hostess' in London. They create a wonderfully intimate atmosphere and quite frankly I wouldn't want to be a member anywhere else!

Not far from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden is Hurst House, a secret haven in the heart of London! Fantastic service, a laid back atmosphere, beautiful decor, and the best mojitos you've ever tasted... It is a truly special members' club.

I attended a burlesque party at Hurst House recently and the staff were great - they made the evening a huge success. I can't wait for the next one!

What a find! I have recently joined Hurst House. By chance a friend took me there, and I immediately felt like I was in good hands.

I love Hurst House - unpretentious staff who treat you as if you were in your own home, whether you are having a coffee and working online via a wireless connection or holding a cocktail party for 30. The hostess, Lotty, is wonderful - it's a shame more clubs don't have staff like her!

If you can get into Hurst House you are doing well. It is a great members' club, with what seems to be a good mix of members. It is, in my opinion, the only place in London where members recognise and socialise with each other. It has amazing decor and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
