I did not know about these poor reviews until after my first ever visit (Feb 2011). I arrived full of expectation, having confidence in the Trumper name. I was greeted well enough (15 mins early) and beverage supplied by polite gent at reception. However, my barber was dispassionate and had little rapport. She was quite abrupt and bordering on rude. The haircut was very disappointing and £36 down the drain. I had to have a repair job the next day at an out-of-town barbers for a quarter of the price!
This firm appears to be trading on its reputation judging by the reviews which, although few in number, are consistently poor. Time for quality control to step in, is it not?

Sadly, I agree with the other reviews. I went to Trumper's with expectations, and my local Turkish barber puts them to shame. £38 down the drain.

I agree! I used to be a barber, and the haircut and shave I had were appalling! Avoid like the plague!

Forget it. Complete waste of money. Had a shave there and it was an awful experience.
