Always my first port of call when in London. Love the cut of the suits and the ever-changing collection of shirts. You can get some Richard James at Barneys, but a visit to the Savile Row shop is a must.

I love Richard James - quirky, very well made classics and nice people. They made some fine adjustments to a suit for a wedding for me on the same day and it looks like it was made for me.

It was my first bespoke suit (and it was fully bespoke) and, frankly, for the (large) sum of money I was disappointed. It fits, but the suit has lost a bit of shape and it has gone a bit shiny after a year and a half. Plus, the service was a little intimidating and I got roundly ignored when a celeb came in.

Quite simply, the best of the best. I needed a suit for my wedding and was running out of time to find something special. The help and advice were not only first class but added to the occasion. By the end I was gladly parting with more and more of my money which is quite a strange experience.

The shirts are quite simply perfection and worth every penny. And, for once, staff in a designer shop who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the product range. Highly recommended!
