1 Lombard Street reviews
I've been to 1 Lombard Street Restaurant and Brasserie many times and, whatever the occasion, I've never been disappointed. The wonderful interior is perfectly matched with fabulous food, either home comfort style like bangers and mash or coq au vin in the Brasserie, or more gastronomic in the Restaurant. The sommelier is always on hand to offer really good tips on wines available by the bottle or glass. Excellent service and very good value for money.

I've been to the brasserie a couple of times recently and enjoyed it. It's a nice, buzzy room with lots of light and atmosphere. I had some really, really good traditional game - grouse and partridge. Friends who ordered more standard fare found the portions a little small. Super service though, and a good wine list.

I had dinner in the brasserie about a week ago, on a Monday, and I was very impressed. We were 6 people and everything was perfect! The food was amazing and the maitre 'd recommended some very nice wines that pleased everyone at the table. The dishes were classics (Stroganof, calf's liver, beef sirloin, salmon etc) and were very tasty, full of flavour and very nicely executed. Bravo!

I had lunch at the Brasserie and the atmosphere was very pleasant and lively. The menu looked very promising but I was quite disappointed when I was informed by our waiter - upon ordering - that they were out of all but 2 (of the nearly 10) specials of the day. The food was good but not great and so was the service. I won't be rushing back anytime soon but would give it another go if in the area.

Quite good - the food was good and the service OK, but it felt a little claustrophobic in its set-up.

I found the food and service excellent and would recommend 1 Lombard Street to all my friends - it definitely deserves all the credit it receives.

The food was not of much higher standard than Wetherspoons and the service was pitiful.
