The decor is interesting but not exactly new any more. A great place to go for drinks, especially if you have to do business entertaining. The food (only eaten there once) is bad quality. But it's a bar, not a restaurant, and they should limit it to that. OK for impressing but that's it. If you have membership to a club take your clients there instead.

A hidden surprise not far from the busy West End. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The decor is really unusual - so many styles in one place, but it works. The colours are vibrant and make you feel happy. The food is simple but tasty. The cocktails are amazing. Not the usual boisterous West End crowd. A lovely discovery.

Finally, a West End place that is not rude and does a nice cocktail and serves good comfort food. The staff were very attentive even though they were rushed off their feet. The cocktails are probably the best I have tasted. Will be back.

The venue was OK even if the decor was a bit strange and the seating was very mis-matched indeed. We were there to celebrate, but it was cut short as most weren't feeling the vibe and bar prices were very overpriced (I think a bottle of house wine was £20). So, after one drink we couldn't be bothered and were off to another watering hole.
Annex 3: only recommended for maybe a sneaky one-to-one - it's dark enough to hide your blushes!

Great service and good decor. Cocktails especially good - the Old Fashioned highly recommended. Ignore the bleating of other reviewers and go!

We reserved a dinner table for 13 American people. Our 3 course meal averaged £33 per person and I must say that everyone enjoyed their dinner. All the food was nicely seasoned and served warm. The lemon roasted chicken, salmon and beef were very tasty. The starters, sides and dessert were all delicious. We drank wine and one friend enjoyed a Mojito. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff provided a great service. This is a wonderful place to take friends and enjoy a night out with soft music, tasty food and drinks.

I take it the good reviews are by the management/owners and the bad ones from the 'real' customers...

Why, if you can't order drinks over the bar, do you then have to sit down and wait 22 minutes for an arrogant French tosser (you know who you are) to grace you with his presence, and then pay through the nose for a rum & coke? This place is dreadful - do not go there.

Maybe I've been to too many good bars to even remotely understand why this place is liked. Decor is, as has been observed, a mixed up mess and not in the least 'trendy' (whatever that is this week). Cocktails took an age to make and weren't anything special... I just don't get it. Sorry.

Annoying, for the following reasons:
1) A sit down bar, thus no interaction with those sitting any further away than next to or opposite you. And the chairs are uncomfortable too!
2) Only two brands of beer - Laos (which needs to be served cold but wasn't) and another not great beer with a stupid bottle containing about two sips worth.
3) We had a stupid waiter, whose French arrogance didn't warrant the automatic 12.5% service charge he lumped on our bills - without consent!
4) The decor is not 'funky' or 'trendy', it's messy and irritating to the eye.
5) They clearly ran out of ideas and money in the bathroom - an old pub urinal and a sink which wouldn't look out of place in a Chechen hospital.
6) The cocktails are good, but nothing on SOBar Richmond or pretty much any other bar that charges the same prices. Don't go there if you're planning to drink anything else.
Basically, this bar does not deserve your custom!

Amazing cocktails (seriously the best I've tasted) and really good, informative service. Food is good too, but there's better in the area.

Good food, great drinks and great service, all in wonderful surroundings! Had to book a table in the bar a week in advance (always a good sign though). I can't recommend this place enough - it really is one of the best bars in London!

Went on a tour of the best bars in this area of London last night with a group of friends and must say how impressed we all were with the cocktails at Annex. We went to
Sketch,
Match Bar, Annex 3,
Crazy Bear, Sochu and The
Sanderson. The service at most of the venues was excellent but the drinks at some left a bit to be desired. I've never been to Annex 3 before and was blown away by the decor but the cocktails were just amazing - definitely amongst the best I've ever had. Well done!

If you want a run-of-the-mill bar with run-of-the-mill prices then you will hate this place (see comments below).
I discovered this bar at the beginning of the year and can't get enough! Superb cocktails and impeccable service with no attitude. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Milk and Honey used to be my favourite bar but now it is well and truly Annex 3.

Really don't bother going to this place. I cannot believe that we paid over the odds for cocktails and were charged £2 for service - at the bar! Everywhere had reserved signs and nobody there.

Horrible West End bar. Has none of the class of
Lounge Lover (when it's not full of Essex beer monsters at the weekend), or
Les Trois Garcons. Full of horrible people, awful service, and it looks dreadful.

Went there last week. Really nice staff and amazing cocktails. One of the best bars I have been to in a long time.

Really hideous. Nasty interior that's "beginning to look a lot like Christmas". Terribly cheap, badly made cocktails.

Went yesterday and had a great time. The bar looks fantastic and the service and cocktails were without doubt the best I have had in London. Cocktails are so original, a million miles from most cocktail bars that just seem to crush some fresh fruit and add vodka. There are drinks with all sorts of herbs, spices and ingredients I've never even heard of! Recommended.
