Matthew Norman's review of Fifteen (The Telegraph)
Fifteen reviews
Great relaxed atmosphere with friendly unpretentious staff. I don't think I have ever tasted such flavoursome food in my life, which makes me wonder what I have been eating in other restaurants all these years! The only slight let-down is that the 'birthday plate', promised at the time of booking for my son's 16th, didn't arrive.
by Anonymous, 12 Mar 2007The food was great, exceeding my expectations. I had risotto with artichokes in the Trattoria (cost: £9, taste: fantastic). The rice was al dente, which it should be but so seldom is. However, the pannacotta was really overpriced at £6; it was good, but there was a thick cream skin on it which spoilt it for me. The service could have been a lot more attentive considering the ratio of tables to waitresses/waiters.
by kokett (3 reviews), 27 Feb 2007What a fantastic experience! The staff turned my 30th birthday into something very special.
Especially since we flew in all the way from South Africa. We had the six course tasting menu and the food was excellent. Fifteen will definitely see us again!
Far too overpriced for what you get, the decor was lovely, but unfortunately, I was not overwhelmed by the cooking.

by davidvic (2 reviews), 08 Dec 2005Overpriced and overated - trainee quality food at trained chef prices. Two course Sunday lunch for 4 at £192 - I don't think so Jamie - get to grips with this place and serve quality food at these prices.
