A very pretentious restaurant which refused to seat a group of 10 at one table despite booking months in advance. Raw partridge and soggy potatoes were an equally low point.

I ate here last month for the first time and was impressed by the quality and sophistication of the food. Some dishes appealed more than others, but the overall standards were hard to fault and I'll certainly eat here again.

The very best new restaurant I've been to in a long time. Really inspiring cooking, attentive but not stuffy service and a very cool dining room with great art. We all loved it, and I was with some really tricky folk!! The bill was really good value too, which surprised us all.

Ate here on a recent trip to London after a meeting nearby. Sensationally good food, friendly staff and pleasant decor. Service wasn't flawless, with occasional gaps in the waiter's knowledge of the menu but I gather Origin is quite a new restaurant, so we were happy to forgive that and the food was so interesting and delicious that we didn't really care anyway. Worth a visit.

We had dinner here last week when it had just opened and thought the food was fantastic!! The place has a real buzz, as well as a few famous faces on the table next to us. Good value too with inventive 3 starter portion option that allowed us to try loads of delicious sounding plates. A very welcome newcomer.

We were really impressed when we dined here earlier this week. The bar area provides somewhere to relax before and after dining and also makes the main restaurant feel a bit more intimate than it did when it was Thyme.

The food was just wonderful - simple but clever dishes without a single dud in 8 courses (3 starters and a pud each). I eat out in London several times a week with work and this was the best meal I've had in London in a long time - highly recommended.
