Went here for Mother's Day. Staff very attentive, food and wine excellent. Really enjoyed the ox cheek and extensive selection of French cheeses. Special Mother's Day lunch menu very good value at £27 for three courses. The idea of the wine list being available in 250ml carafes sounds brilliant - will try that next time!

Have to say, I was not impressed. Service was very shaky (forgot drinks orders, got them wrong) and food was just a little disappointing. It's not rubbish, it was just a bit disappointing...

Having been to Arbutus and loved it, I tried to book this restaurant for a birthday dinner. However, beware: when you book the table they only 'allocate' you a table for 2 hours! I cancelled my booking as soon as I saw that. I do not want to pay that much money for two hours at the table.
