Richmond Park reviews
Richmond Park is an outstanding place to visit. As London's biggest park, it will keep you and the family busy for the whole day, stretching as it does from Roehampton down to Kingston and Richmond. I strongly recommend exploring the park by bike - these are available to hire conveniently by the Roehampton Gate, although at about £6 per hour, is it not that cheap. Make sure you wear your helmet, as some of the hills descend quickly and steeply!
The park provides very good value for money overall, and is popular with kite gliders and cyclists alike, as well as those looking to sunbathe in the summer months. Richmond Park lake provides a very good spot in which to relax and maybe enjoy a picnic. Be aware of the resident wild deer that reside in the park! Many choose to bird-watch here. The park is extremely well-managed.
Overall, Richmond Park provides an excellent day out in a luscious and awe-inspiring environment. I strongly recommend a visit.

Wilderness in the sights of the city. Take sturdy shoes and go exploring... mind the deer who roam around as freely as you do. It's not really a place to set out a picnic and indulge in a little Pimms but you will leave feeling you've been to the wilds of Scotland for an afternoon. A very different London park experience.

Huge and lovely park - doesn't seem like London at all - you really feel like it's a day out in the countryside.
