Other branches of Jo Malone in London:
MayfairJo Malone reviews
Great brand, great sales people and great products... nothing more, nothing less. To all you people who have negative comments about Jo Malone, get a life. And FYI allycat, there is no Jo Malone in Kensington!!
by ddd, 06 Mar 2008The Windsor branch I have found to be really helpful. My partner has been in there too and had the same positive experience.
by JMS, 16 Feb 2008I went to the Jo Malone shop in Kensington. Was made to feel so unwelcome, that I haven't been back since. The shop assistants were too busy preening themselves to offer any advice or help.
by allycat, 04 Jan 2008It's been a while since I went to Jo Malone, but I always go to the Brook Street branch, which I've found to be really good. The staff were helpful, gave me a skin assessment, talked me through the products (which smell heavenly) and I got some great samples (luxury size) as well. They do complimentary hand massages, although I've not had one yet. Try the Brook St branch before you give up on them!
by bobbypants "top london reviewer" (55 reviews), 17 Jun 2007Rude staff. Why are they so arrogant? At the end of the day they are just shop assistants!
by Juliana Thorpe, 19 Mar 2007Have read other comments and have to agree that the staff in every branch I have visited are the same - unhelpful and rude. Have felt unwelcome on all visits, so have now decided to take my custom elsewhere.
by HD, 27 Feb 2007The staff in the Chelsea branch vary between great and apathetic. Sadly, the last two occasions I've been in there were when the apathetics were serving. I didn't buy anything and probably won't bother in future. I like some of the products very much but won't hand my hard-earned money over to rude shop assistants!
by The Writer, 08 Dec 2006Jo Malone is probably the best fragrance and skincare store I've ever been to. The staff are amazing, the products are to die for and the store itself is like an oasis of calm and luxury. Can't get enough!
by Anonymous, 08 Nov 2006Found the staff rude so will not be visiting Jo Malone again.
by Karen101 "top london reviewer" (24 reviews), 16 May 2006Over-hyped. Nothing special. Nice packaging, and better facial products than you'd imagine (JM started as a facialist). But otherwise, bit so-whatish. The scents have lasting power of approximately 30 seconds.
by Froglet (2 reviews), 01 Feb 2006Visited the concession in Harrods. Staff were helpful and the packaging is very nice. I bought the 'Pomegranate Noir' for my lady friend... lovely. Left my details for updates, but nothing so far.
by revel, 08 Dec 2005Love the Mandarin, Basil and Lime Bath Oil. I buy a large bottle at least once a month.
by nefer, 21 Sep 2005Staff were busy on their own hand massages, phone, and out the back! I felt very unwelcome.
by heatherbelle, 10 Aug 2005Slightly disappointed in the class of the products. It has become mass market, although some of the products retain a certain esprit... Was better.
by Anonymous, 22 Dec 2004Absolutely wonderful fragrances - that last - nearly everyone asks me what perfume I'm wearing and where did I get it.
by Anonymous, 09 Nov 2004No longer the best-in-class as it once was. Very professional but too mainstream and trying to hard to be all things to all people. Mass produced and mass marketed - probably due to now being owned by Estee Lauder. The new, small UK perfumers offer better quality, better value and a more personal touch.
