It all depends what you are looking for in a pub. If you are a real ale drinker and like pubs that are pubs and have old-fashioned atmosphere, then this is a great pub. If you are a Fosters drinker, then don't go here.

A really lovely, old-fashioned pub. If you want comfy sofas, music and cocktails, then it isn't for you. If you like proper pubs with proper beer, then you won't find much better.

There appears to be a dichotomy of opinion between these two reviews. I can only assume that either Leeroy is very fussy or he simply isn't one of the bar staff.

The most over-rated experience in London! Beer OK-ish, but the place itself is tatty and uncomfortable. Tried it a second time just to make sure, but it wasn't any better.
