The Baring reviews
Superb breakfasts at weekends. Proper sausages from local butcher plus an eggs benedict that's great.

This pub has changed a lot... for the better. The food - especially Sunday roast - is great pub food, not your average 'gastro' food that you get everywhere else these days. We've lived in the area for 5 years and this place is busier than it's ever been and probably the best pub in the area. Thursdays are really great fun when the quiz is on. I hope the current owners stay on.

I love this pub. The guv is great - so accommodating. We had a 50th Birthday Party there in January. The food was out of this world. Over 70 guests and every one raved about it... and still are!

The bar staff is friendly and not at all "up them selves". Atmosphere is great.
The Baring menu is simple and delicious. Try the £5 curry and quiz on a Thursday-brilliant deal and yummy home made curry.

Went here to eat unexpectedly after the Rosemary Branch decided not to serve food one night (without notice!) and discovered an absolute gem! Certainly won't go back to RB but will definitely come here again!

A great, stylish, comfortable, funky place to eat, drink and be merry.
Bring your mates down for a pint.
