Mirabelle reviews
We really wanted to enjoy the Mirabelle and we tried hard, but it just let itself down in so many ways we ended up leaving really quite disappointed.
The tired and worn surroundings in the lounge I can just overlook, but the food was only average with the mains served on stone cold plates!
The tart tartin was good though. Maybe this is why there were only about 9 people in the restaurant on a Friday evening?

Bit tired looking, specially the bar area. And the dress of the waiting staff - to be honest they had the same slightly downtrodden look. That said they were efficient and friendly.
The restaurant was half full but still had a comfortable atmosphere and each table that was occupied was well away from the nearest set of guests. Food was good, wine list and service likewise.

I found an ashtray from my grandmother with an address for Mirabelle, and had to check this place out. Beautiful, and delicious. Would love to return.

Was very disappointed with this restaurant, especially after hearing so much about it. Been there twice now, once with my boyfriend and once with a party of friends. The service is average, as for the food, I didn't find anything special, nothing that I want to come back for.
The decor, I feel, needs updating, especially now with all the other fancy restaurants popping up all over the place. With the price and food, I would rather go to somewhere else like Petrus or Aubergine.
