Meson don Felipe reviews
Horrendously overpriced for the tapas-sized portions you get. Was once amazing, with great atmosphere, and one of the few places in London where you could get authentic Spanish cooking. But, as per usual, fame comes before flattery which is followed by fluster. Avoid at all costs.

I love this place. The food is great and very reasonable. Yes, the staff are quite rude, but that's all part of its charm! Try the sangria...

I took my mum and my kids here for lunch one day, and the place was great. It was a while ago, and the kids still talk about it. Mum lived in Spain for ten years, and she said the cooking and service were really authentic. She even started talking Spanish to one of the waiters! Oh, and the lemon sorbets were to die for... I'll be back.

We were regular customers, but what a bad surprise last night for Valentine's evening. The food was terrible. We will never go back.

Used to be good, now terrible. Service really bad. We got sworn at when the waitress brought all the wrong food, then the kitchen closed, so after sitting in the place for an hour we got no food. Dire. Avoid.

I've been a frequent visitor over the years, but recently the food has deteriorated, the service has been extremely poor, abrupt and in some cases rude. Don't bother, it used to be better.

If you like your meal (including the bread!) straight from the microwave, then this is the perfect restaurant for you. Horrendous!

I have eaten here three or four times. Great atmosphere, the closest to real bars in Spain as I have seen in London. Majority of the food is excellent. Recommended.

Authentic setting and guitarist, plus good wine. But the food is not great and the service is pretty appalling (you really feel like you're putting the staff out by ordering!)

Good value, authentic and friendly. This can not be beaten for Tapas in London.

I've eaten at Meson don Felipe a few times and it has a great atmosphere. Gets really busy so it's worth booking and you don't get much space per table so be prepared to squeeze in and eat compactly.
Great tapas though and really handy for the Vic theatres.
