Moro reviews
Moro stands out like a good deed in a wicked world. Have been many times and always had a wonderful evening. Fantastic atmosphere, really friendly and efficient staff, and the food is out of this world.

My wife and I took my mum here for a treat. Food was excellent and the service was friendly, caring and efficient.
I wouldn't dream of going to a restaurant as popular and busy as this without taking care to book in advance. I have both Moro cookbooks and have always wanted to dine here. We were not disappointed.

I went here for my birthday - the food was fab, the service above and beyond, and the atmosphere perfect.

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening: good atmosphere and nice to see Sam and Sam cooking the food themselves in the open kitchen at the back. Had a delicately flavoured skate salad to start, followed by spiced lamb which was very generous and absolutely delicious. Dessert was cardamom ice cream which was of equally high standard. Would definitely recommend it! You can also go sit at the bar and have tapas which is good if you don't want a full meal.

Fantastic food. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The food had great flavour and was presented very well with exceptional service. A good layout to the restaurant.

We arrived at 7:10 on a Thursday and asked if they had a table for four. A waitress said a table was free until 9:15 and so we decided to stay. Then the tattooed manager weighed in, insisting we order immediately and said we must leave by 9 p.m. We decided to stay despite his rudeness, but what a mistake!
Food took forever but we raced through it and at 8:40 were ready for dessert. "Coffee anyone?" the manager asked. "Yes I might have a dessert," said the man who was paying our bill. "No, no dessert, you don't have time. Coffee?" the manager replied. Stunning. I have eaten in London restaurants which render Moro a fastfood joint. After this run-in, McDonalds would be offended by comparisons to this restaurant.
Good food. A fine wine list as long as you like wine from Spain or Spain. But not a place anyone should visit unless masochism is high on their list of needs. Service? They don't know the word. Pity they don't fire the manager and find people who deserve to front a place with such great potential. On behalf of the 600+ people who work for my company just up the road from Moro and who constantly have used Moro for dining clients (until today, that is), I shall be passing on to one and all these details.
