Adamina Day Spa reviews

My daughter and I decided to treat ourselves with a trip to London from the west country and this spa was recommended to us. It was certainly worth the journey! I had an amazing facial, the therapist was brilliant and the whole feel of the place was welcoming and calm. I believe the spa is under new management. I would recommend it to everyone.

I recently stumbled upon this oasis of tranquillity at the end of High Street Kensington, away from the bustle and busy of the tube. I won't bore you with all the details, but needless to say I have a stressful life/job so, to treat myself, I booked myself in for a relaxing massage and returned a couple of days later.

The place has a very serene vibe about it and the staff are both friendly but also very calming - none of that 'forced' happiness malarky that can be irritating. The staff were genuinely interested in you and polite and open in their interactions. I was treated like a visiting dignitary and, despite an absolute pig of a day, left feeling very relaxed and looking forward to my next visit.

Actually, I'm not sure if I walked or floated back to the tube station, such was the state of happy relaxation I obtained at Adamina Spa. Well done to the guys and gals who work there. Keep up the good work and see you soon!

An amazing experience from start to finish! When I arrived at the Adamina Day Spa I was delighted by the welcome I received and every stage of the visit was enjoyable. The interior of the spa is beautiful and the treatment I received was first class.

On my visit I treated myself to a facial, which was refreshing and rejuvenating. My skin has felt incredible ever since, smooth and hydrated. My therapist was very polite and made me feel very relaxed and talked me through how to care for my skin in future, which was very interesting and informative.

I have recommended this spa to anyone who will listen - take it from me, it is well worth a visit!

A very cold and unwelcoming spa. The treatments are not as good as what they claim.

Very disappointing - no customer service whatsoever. AVOID.

My wife just had a massage at Adamina Spa. It took us about four months to get the appointment after signing up for a coupon on Keynoir. When my wife gave feedback on arrival, the manager told her that she shouldn't expect the same service when using a coupon. What's absolutely amazing is that when my wife asked "Does that mean I get a discounted SERVICE?", the manager said "Yes, of course".

Lovely decor, but more of an upmarket salon than a spa, as there is only a steam room. Disappointing massage with a rather awkward therapist, but an amazing facial with Mariana. Excellent pedicure.

Amazing facial, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and relaxing decor. My spa of choice in Kensington.

Unrealistic bad reviews about this spa! I loved everything about my experience and especially the therapists. My facial was AMAZING, and I know what I am talking about since I used to have a beauty salon. I loved the complimentary steam room and a cup of tea before my treatment. It's definitely different from most of the places I have visited. The spa is cosy, beautiful and classy. A most professional therapist, called Mariana, did my 90 min facial (£95) and I highly recommend her. Will be coming back.

I went to this spa the other day, and have to say it was a real disappointment. The staff are unfriendly and really quite rude. Given that I had booked half a day for myself and three girlfriends, it felt extremely unnecessary to rush us along. The treatments were extremely below par as well: the facial caused some sort of skin reaction for myself and two of my friends, and the massage left my back cramping for days. This second tier spa is not remotely worth the prices. Go to The Dorchester or The Mandarin!

I went to the spa after reading the rave reviews on this website. The spa is undoubtedly beautiful and very clean. But the treatments are average. I had a vitamin facial and a massage. The facial was below average. It didn't really do anything for my skin. After the treatment my skin broke out in spots and felt very sensitive. The massage was a painful experience. The treatments are definitely overpriced. Will not go there again or recommend anyone.

The worst experience of my life! Very disappointing facials. Not worth the money at all.

I booked to go here as a Christmas treat with my friend and we had such a gorgeous time... I'm surprised by the other review here as we thought the staff were amazing - I drifted off during my fabulous scalp massage. The spa is beautiful and the steam room was one of the best I've been in. There's lovely touches everywhere, from the complimentary products and refreshments to the stacks of girlie DVDs to watch between appointments and during the mani/pedi. We had a package that included an Indian head massage, facial, waxing, manicure and pedicure and champagne - it's amazing value. Definitely going back for my birthday in Feb!

Best spa in Kensington! The staff are still the same girls who started 2 years ago when the spa opened, which in my opinion speaks highly of a place like this. Go to Vessi for a facial and waxing - I haven't met a therapist who loves their job more than her.

The staff are very cold and not very welcoming, which seemed to resonate to the treatment. Will not be going back.

Adamina Day Spa is just the perfect spa. I was referred to Adamina by a friend in NYC who mentioned this was the best spa she had been to. I ended up getting the Yonka facial and a Swedish massage and had an amazing time. This spa really is a must-go. They have so many little complimentary gifts and products, it's incredible. Worth every single penny.

Best spa in London by far. I have spent half a day there, having the 'Monthly Indulgence' package (90 min Customised Yonka Facial, 90 min Yonka Aroma Massage + unlimited steam and drinks) and it was worth every penny. The place is immaculate, with great decor and attention to detail. The staff were amazing, professional and dedicated. The atmosphere is fabulous. An excellent way to relax and get out of the rat-race. The relaxation area felt like a comfortable living room with comfortable sofas, complimentary drinks and SATC and Audrey Hepburn on plasma screen. What more do you need for a day of pampering? HIGHLY recommended. Will go back again.

This place is heaven. Adamina Day Spa is an amazing experience. The staff are welcoming, helpful, friendly and very professional. I had a wonderful day there. I found the atmosphere extremely relaxing and peaceful and never once felt rushed during the experience. I had a day package called 'Ultimate Beauty', which includes Yonka Customised Facial, Adamina Manicure and Adamina Pedicure. Wow!! It was 3 and 1/2 hours of treatment. Totally worth it! Felt so relaxed that I didn’t want to leave. My skin still has a rosy glow, even 2 weeks after the facial. A gorgeous place. I would recommend this spa to anyone.

I love this place! Such a gem - I could just live there. Attention to detail is amazing in terms of treatments and decor. Was there 2 weeks ago for their 'Girls just want to have fun' offer, and I should say that this is one of the few spas in central London that doesn't make you feel you are on a conveyor belt. First, they have the facilities such as relaxation room, steam and changing rooms, so you never feel crowded. Second, they don't charge you for any of those extras, including drinks!

TIP: Go 1 hour prior to your appointment, have hot chocolate while watching 'An Affair to Remember' or whatever old classic they are playing that day on the plasma screen in the relaxation area.
