Agua at The Sanderson reviews
I had a lovely time at Agua. Although it was a bit noisy it was understandable since everything is divided by curtains. But it was the best massage I have ever had. Excellent staff, from attendants to reception. Will definitely be back.

I must have been unlucky. I booked a massage to relax and it was anything but, due to the noise from both sides of the curtained massage room, from other people chatting to drawers slamming, to the carpets being cleaned. I complained to reception but the lady smiled, ran my credit card whilst insisting I pay, and then told me I might have better luck next time. Well, there will be no next time. There are plenty of nice spas in London with private treatment rooms for the same price. What a rip off.

The front of house is very friendly and helpful. My massage was just excellent and I loved the relaxation areas. It's good value for money as the products used are the best and the therapists are great.

I've been to Agua twice and both times it was just great. The environment of the spa is very peaceful and there are special comfy chairs to relax in before or after your treatment. I really recommend Agua Spa!

I have just recently been to Agua for the first time and it has to be the best spa experience I've ever had. The spa is immaculate and the staff are very professional. I had the signature treatment, milk and honey, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My therapist, Matthew, was outstanding. I will definitely be back soon.

I would like to say, as I came to the reception of Agua the girls were very welcoming and helpful and as I stepped into the spa I was taken aback by the beautiful surroundings. As for my treatment, it has to be the best I have ever had. Agua is one of the only places the do Eve Lom facials - highly recommended. My therapist, Surei, is truly a sensational therapist. I will definitely return.

Really terrible from start to finish. First they got my booking wrong so couldn't find me on the computer, then once they did manage to 'squeeze' me in it was the wrong treatment! The manager kept offering me champagne to make up for the stress - which normally would be great, but I'm pregnant!! Just awful.

'Achingly hip' it may be, but behind the facade... such a ghastly place! The cockney receptionist would not have been out of place on a sketch show - dishevelled and totally unhelpful. My therapist stank of stale cigarette smoke, which made me feel sick. Very unpleasant. Agua, you must be so proud!

I recently visited Agua Spa at The Sanderson Hotel and it was pure heaven. My therapist was called Emma and she gave me a massage and an Eve Lom facial and it was the best facial and massage I have ever had. I went to Emma on a friend's recommendation. She takes pride in making sure you receive the best treatment and are comfortable throughout.

I'm very surprised by some of the reviews as I've been to Agua several times and love it! Where else can you have a workout and steam, have your legs waxed and enjoy champagne with your friends in the chill-out room? The staff are so friendly and don't hassle you to buy stuff like they do in some spas. I also love the Eve Lom facials they offer - it's the longest facial ever, and a bit more money but well worth it!

Had an awful time. The massage wasn't like what the receptionist had described, and when told him I didn't really like it he was very rude.
The last time I went, someone actually pulled my therapist out of the room whilst I was having my facial. Really unprofessional, and noisy too.

Very noisy since there are no walls, only flowing white curtains. Someone actually pulled my therapist out of my room during my facial! Wasn't that happy with my massage either. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, he got very rude and was unhelpful. He didn't even ask to know how it could be improved. Would not recommend going here.

I was given a gift voucher for a half day at Agua, I chose a massage and a facial. I really didn't expect what i got!Fernando transported me to heaven with his very firm hands, I just ran the London marathon as well so very much needed that!
Jackie (who has amazing skin herself so very good advert!) gave me a facial like no other I've had. Her hands are incredibly soothing and she had to wake me up! A must visit spa!

Total Luxury. If you want to be pampered in beautiful and exquisite surroundings and have fantastic treaments then this is the place to come. I had a top to toe body massage and facial. I came out feeling like a million dollars, totally de-stressed and fully revitalised (thanks to my wonderful and adorable boyfriend).
However, there is one let down - a little one: the rooms are separated only by curtains so instead on being able to drift off to the land of Nod I had to endure listening to a very charming guy in the next room pipe on for 15 mins about the history of his medical injuries and how he got them, then he went on to where he and his family were going for Thanksgiving and Christmas (during all this I had to listen to his moans, groans and grunts. Sounds filthy but I'm sure it was all above board.) Eventually he went quiet - I can only assume he fell asleep. Hooray!!
I would definitely go back there again but it is pricey so would only go if someone else was paying - wonderful gorgeous boyfriend where are you?!!

It looks beautiful but not practical, VERY noisy during treatment, can hear people chatting. Steam room always broken and therapists push products!
