Great spa! Like being in another world, stepping off the pavement of busy London life and into a quiet serenity. Not many booked in at the same time as I go, so it's great!

Had a girly day for my birthday. 6 of us went to London, not knowing what to expect. OMG, had a great time, and was floating on air afterwards. Clean, calm and professional, the ultimate in relaxing. Well worth it, would definitely do it again!

Wow, what an amazing experience! A must-do for all couples or friends. The staff are so friendly and very professional. They really went out of their way to look after us. Try their facials, they're great!

I loved my personalised facial treatment and massage here.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the whole afternoon had a blissful, unhurried feel. I had the steam room to myself and enjoyed a herbal tea on the heated, body-contoured beds in the relaxation room afterwards.

I'd certainly visit again and would recommend it to anybody.

I chose this spa on the basis of the very positive reviews on this site and wish I hadn’t! If you are looking for a really nice day spa to lounge around enjoying heavenly facilities, this is definitely not the place to do it. The facilities are very basic – small sauna, small steam room with a terrible smell of damp on the day I went, small shower area and a good relaxation room (although as the pick up point for treatments/refreshment area it is not as relaxing as it might be). The spa is in the basement of the hotel and, with the strong smell of damp and some ugly ventilation vents, really misses the mark as a place you want to wile away a few hours and forget the world.

Other issues include not being given a pair of slippers or shoes and having to walk barefoot in the main corridor where people have been walking with outdoor shoes. Yuk! All that said, the hot stone massage I had at the spa was extremely good - thank god for 1 brilliant therapist, otherwise the day would have been a disaster.

Approach the glossy, luxurious-looking photos on their website with caution and as good example of fine marketing in action.

I treated myself. The spa was lovely, the staff friendly. I went on my own for some 'me time' and felt totally comfortable. My therapist (Nicki) was excellent, and after my 'Summer Glow Package' treatments, I felt GREAT. Good value for money. Left feeling totally relaxed and pampered. Would definitely recommend.

My two girlfriends and I booked the Summer Glow offer and we had a great time! A really relaxing day and I would recommend to any group of girls looking for a girly day out. Worth the money we paid.

I booked the Cleopatra Bathing Experience for my best friend and I as her Christmas present, but by March when we went she was pregnant so was not allowed to use the steam room for health reasons. The staff were great. Rather than having her miss out completely, I had the Bathing Experience alone and they gave her a 45-minute neck and shoulder massage, which she adored. They dealt with us swiftly and professionally, and were very understanding and sweet. Lovely.

Loved my treatment here. The entire spa was very calming and the facilities looked impressive, although I only used the relaxation room.

My therapist adapted the treatment after I mentioned a few likes and dislikes and answered some questions about my skin type.

I came out feeling like I was walking on air and will certainly be going back.

The spa cancelled my appointment 3 hours before our arrival, apparently due to broken-down equipment. My mother was already on a train down to London specifically for a Cleopatra mud bath experience. This was a much-anticipated birthday present. Mayfair Spa spoiled my mum's birthday. Customer service score out of 10? 0. Facilities score out of 10? 0.

Very friendly staff but treatments and facilities are overpriced. Couldn't use steam room because with 3 women in it there was no room for me. Would not use again.

My recent visit to the May Fair Spa left me with a lasting feeling of bliss. I absolutely adored the couple's massage room, which is a new addition to their spa. The facilties were such fun, especially the cold water bucket. The Cleopatra bathing experience left me so relaxed and with glowing skin. The staff are very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone. I can't wait to go back (I got such a good deal as well).

My visit to the May Fair Spa was disappointing. I'm certain that the steam room was not very clean. As for the treatment, value for money-wise it's certainly not the best I've had. Not sure I would go there again.

I was a bit nervous about going to a spa in the Radisson, but it's a great location and it means most people won't find it. Although other comments say this spa is expensive it's approximately the same price as a lot of other spas in Mayfair, but has the addition of being able to use the sauna/steam room - so, all in all, it's good value.

You can hear the quiet rumbling of the tube in the relaxation room, but it isn't that noticeable. I took a friend there; we've both been to 50+ spas, and each of us said that we probably had the best massage ever. The staff seem to be very well trained and more personal. It's a nice touch that they give you the full tour at the beginning and explain everything, which most spas don't do.

My only complaint is that the reception staff can be a bit rough around the edges. When I called, the receptionist was yelling at someone as she picked up the phone. And although we arrived an hour early, there was a mix up with the scheduling, which meant my massage started almost an hour late - and I had to chase people down to find out what was going on. They did give me a complimentary treatment and apologised profusely, but I really don't understand how basic scheduling errors can occur when there are only 7 treatment rooms.

I purchased the special promotion on offer through this website. The staff were excellent and the treatments were just as good. Without a doubt the best value for money and the best day out in a very very long time!

I went to the Mayfair Spa and had an 'aroma decadance' package, which was truly divine. The young girl who helped me and my friend to the Cleopatra mud bathing experience was lovely, bubbly and seemed like she really knew what she was talking about.

The whole spa in general is lovely. I especially like the fountains around the spa and the beds in the relaxation room - they're heated and very comfortable. I'll definitely be going back!

And now comment from a male... My partner and I needed a 'city break' on a Saturday. Booked Cleopatra mud bath for two at 11:00 to start the day. This was wonderful and really allowed us to start to relax and get into the whole experience. After that we both had facials which were relaxing, informative, and just wonderful. The staff were excellent with their knowledge and hands on experience. All in all spent 4 hours at May Fair Spa before heading off to lunch around the corner at The Wolseley. We will do this again very soon.

An amazing, tranquil break. A perfect day with close friends. Lots of pampering, champagne, girlie chats - what could be better?!

Luxurious and professional treatments. Friendly staff. The attention to detail was fantastic, the decor amazing. Just what my friends and I needed. We were so energised, we went out after till the early hours of the morning.

Went with my mum looking to de-stress and be pampered. Staff is amazing. The treatments were excellent...drifted off to sleep instantly. The 'experience shower' is slightly exaggerated though as it's just a normal shower, but the overall experience was still great.
