London Aquarium reviews
A 15 min queue wasn't too bad for Saturday afternoon. It was quite expensive for adults and children, but free for under-3s and you can take pushchairs around (which some attractions prohibit).
It's big! If anything, there was a bit too much to see if you're taking very young children - seems to go on forever.
There are a few interactive bits where you can stroke starfish (if you like that kind of thing). The glass tunnel section was a bit congested as everybody slowed down to enjoy it, causing a bit of a bottleneck, but you do get a good view of the sharks there.
They could do a better job of providing toilets and the way out (post gift shop) was jammed unless you picked 'McDonalds' instead of 'Exit', but overall it was pretty good with lots to see and definitely worth a family outing.

The larger fish looked so bored just swimming round and round and round... So many of the perspex/glass tanks were scratched and dirty, and only ONE toilet in the whole place was working. Poor for the considerable price of admission.

I was so disappointed by this aquarium! It was small and badly managed, the fish tanks were dirty and the displays were poor. It would have been OK for a fiver but for £12.50 it was a joke. The Sealife Centre in Brighton all the way!

There is so much to see and, for the kids, lots to touch in the petting area, which is a shallow water pool housing starfish and other creatures. This is a fantastic venue for kids and adults alike. At certain times you can observe the staff diving and feeding the sharks and stingray, which is quite exciting!

Personally, I think it's great! I love the stingray pit where you can stroke and 'pet' them. A must visit if you're in London for the day.

The fish petting pool is a must. A map in the visitors guide would help - just so you could find out where the toilets are!

One to take the kids to, definitely. There is a great rock-pool room where young ones love to snoop and peer at the starfish, crustaceans etc. And then there are the sharks. Gulp!
