Palette London reviews
As a vintage enthusiast, Palette London is my favourite place to buy vintage clothing. What is so special about Palette is that each carefully selected piece is in IMMACULATE condition - something so very rare in vintage retail. The owner, Marco, clearly has an exceptional eye for impeccable style and construction. The passion he has for the latter is evident in the unique collection of vintage fashion which has a truly contemporary feel. The carefully chosen collection means that there is none of the trawling through racks of clothing so common in other vintage fashion stores.
A visit to Palette is an absolute pleasure, if not to buy then to gaze in awe and wonder at the timeless beauty of each unique piece! The contemporary collection also sits perfectly with the vintage collection. Outstanding!
I am a huge fan of Palette London. Marco has wonderful taste in fashion. He always gets it right for me. I just love the pieces from the Indian designers, they are so great
because I can wear them in totally different ways. A fantastic shop - always worth a look.
I am a huge fan of Palette London and of Marco. Every time I go in I end up buying a wonderful piece, whether it is clothes, shoes or jewellery. He has great taste and a great collection.
by maryfulton, 12 Jul 2007This has to be one of the best shops in London. The vintage clothes are in beautiful condition and a great selection. I have bought some wonderful pieces. The modern clothes are also fabulous. And the staff are lovely and have a great eye for what works.
by AnnCA, 11 Jul 2007A trip to Palette London always leaves me feeling totally radiant, inspired and a bit broke (but that's my own fault for spending much more than I can afford). The buyer has the sharpest eye for selecting the most beautiful clothes, which always feel right and very 'now'. The vintage and contemporay pieces totally compliment one another, and there is a good selection of wearable classics sitting alongside more dynamic and directional pieces. I love the fact that the owner chooses to support lesser-known contemporary designers. His finger is totally on the fashion pulse. I am in love with this shop.
by Lady Lunchbox, 10 Jul 2007As a vintage magpie, I have to say this shop wasn't all that great. The selection was OK and there were a couple of things I would have liked but the price was just over the top. There was a Leonard dress and a Jean Muir dress, both well over £200, which I could have bought for a lot less in Notting Hill. I think if you are a true vintage lover you will do much better at Rellik or Blackout in Covent Garden.
by audrey "top london reviewer" (32 reviews), 11 Jun 2007Palette London is a very special boutique. Beautifully selected modern and vintage pieces that are hard to find elsewhere in London. Really friendly staff too. I love it.
by gallery, 15 Dec 2006Bought world's greatest sunglasses here and found fantastic retro dress but didn't fit. Buyers have great sense of style but some of the newer clothes can be a bit dodgy.
by me, 29 Jun 2005Have we missed a great vintage & second hand clothing shop in London? Let us know.
